Our sweet little flock of Khaki Campbell ducks are laying! Duck eggs are in stock now in the farm store- swing by, grab a half or full dozen and see the flock while you’re here!
We know many of you are dedicated fans of our beautiful, multicolored chicken eggs, but there are so many reasons to add duck eggs to your baking, frying, scrambling rotation.
Duck eggs are larger and have a higher yolk to white ratio than chicken eggs. Their big ol’ yolks make them great for baking super moist cakes and brownies.
They’re high in protein, omega-3s, and contain up to 50% more vitamin A than chicken eggs. A serving of duck eggs even provides half of the daily recommended dose of selenium, which is critical for thyroid function.
Our little flock of ducks will be over by the farm store all weekend- know your farmer, know your food, know your ducks!
