Origin of Cooley Bay Winery:
The beginnings of Cooley Bay Winery started with a dream to bring a specialty drink called "The Cooley" to market. In the process of development of the "The Cooley", a love of the world of wine and the great people involved was created. In 2014, it was determined that a Tasting Room would be built in Van Alystyne, Texas were wine lovers could come together to taste some great wines and experience " The Cooley" on tap, while sitting back and relaxing with your family and friends. The Van Alstyne,Texas Winery:
Cooley Bay Winery, the first Winery in the City of Van Alstyne, Texas was constructed on the site of an abandoned AT&T Communications tower site. In the early 90's the tower was destroyed in a severe storm and the building remained vacant for decades until it was remodeled and enlarged into a contemporary tasting room to enjoy wine tastings, pairings, and the purchase of traditional varieties of wine, fruit wines, and experience "The Cooley". How It Works:

🥃 🍒 You’ve never had an “Old Fashioned” quite like this. Our newest release is a “neat” twist on the classic cocktail, reimagined as a craft mead.

Aged in oak, infused with orange peels and Luxardo Maraschino Cherries, and served on tap…It’s the 2nd best Old Fashioned in Van Alstyne (We must give Dowling Distilling props for the best!)
