When it’s been since March that we rode out together and he can’t handle the excitement and acts like an ass, so gets to run free and get the energy out. Pretty sure it’s me-0 and Relo-1 this round.
It sure is nice to get back on for a little hack around the fields

Rain. Again. On our market day. Honestly, this is just Mother Nature and we accept whatever She throws our way, but my goodness does this really really suck.
We have made the decision to stay on the farm today instead of attending our weekly market in Stamford. The weather has made the decision for us, again. We apologize to our friends and supporters down there, but we expect to be back next Sunday.
To our local community, we have harvested everything we could and would like to offer these vegetables to you today. We are opening our doors to you again here on the farm starting at 10am.
Our hope is you are willing and able to stop in today and grab really fresh produce, and chicken.
We understand you want more consistency from us and we are working on that, but for now, we do what we can with these pop-up’s and online sales.
Thank you all for your understanding. This really hurts in many ways.
We look forward to seeing some of you today on the farm. We will be set up to the left of the barns near our garden in case the rain starts early.

The farmers’ market the SM&NC is still on for tomorrow inside the Farmhouse from 10-2. We are out in this storm prepping and are planning on coming as loaded as we can with chicken, eggs, and fresh veg.
We hope you’ll consider stepping out and supporting us and the other farms and vendors that are going to be attending.

Yes, it is going to rain again Sunday. Yes, it will be uncomfortable. Yes, we will be harvesting and prepping for Sunday. Yes, we would LOVE IT if you would come out to show support for us and the other farmers even if it’s sh!tty out.
Farmers are so dependent on the weather to provide a bountiful harvest and just as dependent on it to make market days appealing to the consumer. We know that this weekend will be pretty gross, but are so hopeful to see many of you out at the SM&NC
Please consider heading out to other markets and farm stores that are still open this weekend and show the farmers of CT some much needed love!
