Nuttall’s Country Store and the Post Office will be closed tomorrow, Monday, October 12, in observance of Columbus Day.

We’re now carrying Berks All-Beef Bologna, along with Berks Bologna Burgers — thick, hearty slices that are perfect for throwing on the grill or frying up in a skillet.

Unlike our Berks hot dogs, which are made with a beef-and-pork blend, this bologna is 100% beef.

🇬🇧 A little taste of Britain has arrived at Nuttall’s!

Hobnobs have always been a little nostalgic for me. My oldest brother introduced me to them when I was young, and I’ve been a fan ever since. They’re one of those foods where one bite can take you right back.

McVitie’s has been baking biscuits in Britain for generations, and Hobnobs came along in 1985, followed by the chocolate version in 1987.

The ones we have at Nuttall’s are the Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Hobnobs — crunchy, oaty biscuits covered in chocolate. And here’s a little bit of trivia: the chocolate Hobnobs are made at McVitie’s historic factory in Harlesden, northwest London. The original plain Hobnobs were once baked in Glasgow, Scotland, before production moved after the Glasgow factory closed in 2022.

They’re made with 100% whole grain oats, with no artificial colors or flavors and no hydrogenated vegetable oils.

If you’ve never had a Hobnob, now’s your chance. And if you already know what they are… you probably understand why I wanted them on the shelf.
