Seeing my book come to fruition has been a whirlwind of excitement. I'm humbled by the outpouring of support from old friends, new friends, family members, former colleagues and bosses, customers, staffers, neighbors, and total strangers who've bought the book.
I wanted to get this helpful and nutritious info into the universe. Through its pages, there is wisdom on being conscious at the forks in life, being aware of how your food is produced, and eating clean with 100+ delicious, plant-based recipes to help you create a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.
Someone said to me " your restaurant is now a book" - basically! I really wanted to capture some of the essence of the cafe that nourished a community for 12 years plus tips on juice cleanses and growing your own food and more.
Even meat eaters know it's a good thing to add more plant based nutrition into their diets - these recipes won't sacrifice comfort or taste and the food feels good when you eat it. You have the power to add vegan goodness into your rotation.
