We're a rabbitry located in Western Pa. We raise Mini Rex in Black, Black Otter, White, and Lilac.

Flower Hill Rabbitry is currently breeding Mini Rex, we specialize on Blacks, Otters, Castors, and the Broken variety of those colors. We also breed Californians for our meat projects and production.

Added a cute addition to the herd last week, for those of you who don’t know, we added Britannia Petites to the rabbitry this year. This little Jr doe will be part of our very small program. Thank you so much Hailey Norden for the opportunity for this little doe.

Unfortunately my sweet boy Outbacks Lusk passed suddenly yesterday. He turned 6 at the end of June, but despite the age seemed to be doing well with keeping in condition. My guess is that the heat became too much for him.

He was a huge contributor to my mini Rex herd and I’m happy that I still have several daughters, granddaughters, and great grandsons and daughters (born in May) that can keep his memory alive.

He will surely be missed ❤️😭

We were able to s*x the kits this week!

Two kits (fostered to Grace), 2 white, 1 buck and 1 doe
Fh’s ’MERICA x 3SRs King
Three kits, 1 broken chocolate doe, 1 broken lilac doe, 1 broken lilac buck
I’m relieved to have more does than bucks this time around 😂

Unfortunately we did lose the singleton from Lake Country’s Charm, but we’re looking forward to trying again in the fall.

We had a couple pop outs that we haven’t seen in awhile, 1 broken chocolate and 2 broken lilacs. It’ll be fun to see how they develop!

Gave us 4, 1 DOA (lilac), 1 Black, 1 White, and 1 Blue
Born 4/6

FHs Diem (White, 2 legs) x 3SRs King (Lilac)
Gave us 2, both white.
Born 4/7

Lake Country’s Charm (white) x 3SRs King (Lilac) Gave us 7, 6 DOA. Unfortunately all but one passed, 2 black, 5 white. 1 White survived.
Born 4/10

FHs ‘MERICA (broken black) x 3SRs King (Lilac) Gave us 4, 1 black (peanut), 3 brokens. We fostered the white from charm to this litter.
Born 4/11

Hopefully next month is less eventful 😂😅
