Ducks weren’t the only things hatching around here! 🦋

The kids also loved watching 4 caterpillars evolve into beautiful butterflies. To not only learn about life cycles, but to actually watch those transformations happen right in front of you, is truly miraculous — no matter the creature.

It’s such a fun and educational activity for families, kids, or anyone who enjoys nature. Be sure to stop by and visit Heather — aka “The Butterfly Lady” — at Brooke County Farmers Market this Wednesday 4-7pm. She will have her butterfly tent there in celebration at Kids Day at the Market!

So many of our customers who stopped by Brooke County Farmers Market last night asked — will you have corn?

🌽 Absolutely! But this year, it will be a little later in the summer.

Our first planting went in right before the week + of rain we received, which resulted in a spotty field. We’ve continued our staggered plantings, and Grady just put another round in this week!

We have a few varieties, but all will be bi-color sweet corn. 🌽
