Runway Farms Alpacas We're a family-run alpaca farm in the beautiful Helderberg Hilltowns, just half an hour from Albany. Farm tours available by appointment.

Lovely alpaca yarn is available for purchase, along with alpaca wool socks, mittens, scarves and other products.

Thank you to the intrepid people who made it out to visit the farm today, despite the rain and wind! It was lovely to meet you and share our alpacas with you all.

We will be open again tomorrow (Sunday) 11am-1pm. Despite this lovely(!) weather, the barn is warm and dry. The baby alpacas and their mothers will be snuggled up in there and ready to say hello!

We're so excited about this! Our first ever batch of 100% Westerlo NY grown alpaca yarn, fresh from the mill. I've been nervous all year about how it would turn out, but it is soft and squishy and just lovely. Everything I was hoping for.

Lots of natural colors here to choose from. The farm shop will be open 9/26-9/27 for National Alpaca Farm Days (details on that to follow). Or text/call us at 970-691-6673 to pop in almost anytime.
