At 8 years old RIV 927 passed his BSE with 85% motility and 880 million/ml. This is the genetics we are breeding into our cow herd. For the first time ever, his genetics will be available at our field day Friday May 29th. Come spend the day with us.

The response to our field day and auction has been great. Thank you. Many people have asked about how they can bid without being present. With advanced notice we will have someone for you to be on the phone with live during the auction. We will also take max bids prior to the auction and bid for you. We have added more information on each lot for sale to our website including minimum bids.

Big news for our field day - Animal auction!

With short notice on our field day, we have been hesitant to do an auction at the end. We have decided to create a 7 lot auction and if interest grows we will add lots.

Here is the exciting part! The picture of the bull is RIV 927. Every heifer from him, except one, has stayed on our farm. This will be the first time a group of his offspring will be sold. Every heifer listed below is from him. Details and pictures in the next few days but at this time here are the lots.

Lot # 1 - Fullblood heifer open

Lot # 2 - Purebred heifer open

Lot # 3 - 75% heifer open

Lot # 4 - 50% cow with 75% heifer

Lot # 5 - 50% cow with 75% heifer

Lot # 6 - Fullblood yearling bull

Lot # 7 - Purebred yearling bull

Because of the short notice we will have an opening bid that is closer to market price than a normal auction.

We are excited to share that we were asked to host a field day by the NRCS Natural Resource Conservation Service. The field day is designed around our rotational grazing practices and the tools we use including South Poll cattle and Halter virtual fencing. If you are a producer that would like to learn more about high density grazing or South Poll cattle we would love to have you at our ranch.
