⚠️Surprise, we're opening u-pick strawberries Tuesday 6/23, 8am-Noon!

All the info is on our website, and you can always check there for open dates and status updates!

We're thinking this crop might be a quick season so don't delay getting here while you can!

Here's the basics:
🍓U-pick is NOT open every day, so be sure to check hours before making the trip to pick.
🍓 We have containers, or bring your own. Come into the farmstand first to weigh them before going to the field.
🍓You pay for what you pick. Leave unripened berries on the plant.
🍓Don't step on the strawbabies or plants. They're so much work to grow, lets treat them right.
🍓 Please leave your dogs at home, and monitor your kids.
🍓Remember, this is our home and a working farm. Please stay within the boundaries of the farmstand and u-pick area for your safety and our privacy. Be respectful and do not leave trash anywhere but the trashcans.
🍓 We accept cards, cash (yes we have change during u-pick only), check, tap apple pay and google pay. We no longer accept venmo and paypal.

🚗P.S. Beep Beep! We have a newly expanded parking area that is not finished, but functional enough to park your vehicles! Please pull all the way into the fenced area and up against the sides. Hopefully this will allow for less crowding and less road parking when it gets busy! Thanks!

Stephanie is another smiling face you'll see around the farm this year!  Please help us welcome her to the crew!

She's a nurse by trade, and though not officially trained in farm work, her skills have certainly proven handy to have around. She's used to being on her feet, being thorough, solving problems, and taking care of people. She's been tossing around a lot of "thats beautiful!", reminding us to appreciate the beauty in what we're lucky to do every day.

She's a calm presence in the midst of the madness and an absolute tetris wizard when it comes to packing every last good thing into our small but mighty farmstand (and still making it look good).

We're glad she's here, and we think you will be too. Here's a little more about Stephanie, in her own words.

"Originally from Pennsylvania, my husband, Alex and I moved to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom a little over a year ago and quickly fell in love with the deep connection people here have to the land, food, and community. For the past 10+ years I worked as a nurse, and while I’m grateful for that chapter, I found myself drawn toward work that feels more intentional, tangible, and connected to the place I call home.

There’s something special about ending the day physically tired but knowing your work contributed to the land and the community.
Outside of farm life, you can find me tinkering around in my own garden, watching the birds, and just spending time in nature with my husband and our dogs. Some of my favorite moments are the simple ones, being outside, slowing down, and appreciating the beauty of everyday life."

We're loaded with peony bouquets in the farmstand and donuts are ready to go home with you!

The abundance!!!

💐Grab a friend and come on over to the Petite Posies Bouquet Bar this Saturday 6/20, anytime 8am-11am to make your own jar of spring beauty!

We also have SO MANY bodacious peony bouquets to share with you this weekend, it's peony bliss! Put some in every room of the house while you can.

🍓Strawberry pints are in the farmstand and we're doing our best to keep them stocked, because you know they'll fly! Stay tuned for u-pick opening next week... TBD.

The farmstand is also stocked with fresh deliveries of sourdough, baked goods, icecream Sandwiches and bars, local lettuce, cukes and tomatoes, and some new fun products to try! Donuts hit the farmstand Saturday morning at 8am! Come on over!

It's time we introduce some new faces around the farm!

This year we're adding to the team, and we want you to meet the fab humans who are helping us bring you all the goods, but better!

First up is Vivian! We reached out to Sterling College in Craftsbury in their last semester of operation, hoping that some students of their environmentally focused program would be interested in working a diverse "jack/jill of all trades" farm job. Vivian stepped up, excited to have a variety of responsibilities, and to put her many skills to use. She hails from California, but has taken a liking to the NEK, and hoped to stay in the area after she graduated in Sterling's final class in May.

I always joke with Mark that at first tour, if someone can't keep up with me walking across the yard, it's not going to work out. Our first meeting with Vivian, she was booking it around so quick, I was having to keep up with HER, and that's when I knew she had a chance of thriving in this crazy place.

She has survival skills training, ties a mean knot, and can identify most every bug we've found on the property so far. She's proudly taken on the title of "head goose whisperer", so you'll often find her in the strawberry field with her flock of little weeders.

Please help us welcome Vivian to the crew and be sure to say hi when you see her around!

The very first limited strawberries are in the farmstand!

We'll do our best to keep them stocked, but as you know, availability depends on ripening and mother nature.

We are not taking orders for pre-picked berries at this time- stop in to the farmstand and get as many available pints as you'd like.

U-pick will open after we get cranking enough to let you loose in the field. It will likely be within the next week.
