August Table

Something’s simmering and it’s not just the soup. 🍲🍂🍁
First rainy day of fall, black bean soup in the slow cooker, and a table dressed in all the warm browns of the season. This is the kind of day where doing less feels like doing it right. New post on the blog, link in bio.

Make time for the mornings worth remembering. ☕️

Coffee poured, pastries still warm, the table beautifully set, and nowhere else you need to be.

We love the ritual of a slow morning around the table. It doesn’t have to be a special occasion to make it feel special.

Set the table. Pour another cup. Stay a little longer.

Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

Today we pause to honor and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. We are grateful.

We also want to share an update with our August Table family. After much thought, we have decided that for the foreseeable future, our White Stone store will be open on Fridays and Saturdays only.

We are a small business, and like so many of you, we are feeling the weight of these times—rising gas and food prices, and the uncertainty that comes with it all. We understand that shopping and visits have slowed, and we truly understand why. You are doing what you need to do for your families, and we respect that completely.

We are so grateful for every one of you who has supported us along the way. We hope to see your smiling faces on the weekends, and as always, our online store is open 24/7 whenever you need us.

Wishing you all peace, comfort, and brighter days ahead. 💛

This is an outdoor table, set on a brick patio, with the kind of casual ease that invites people to pull up a chair and stay a while. It is the table you set for a long Sunday lunch, for lemonade in the afternoon, for dinner that stretches past golden hour into the soft evening light. It is generous and warm and entirely without pretension.

That is what we are always chasing at August Table. Not perfection, but presence. Not a table that impresses, but a table that welcomes.

Details on how to recreate this table and more at the August Table Blog {link in bio}.

A table set beneath open sky, petals catching the light.

Pink blooms, soft layers, a breeze that moves through it all—nothing held too tightly, just a moment allowed to unfold.

The kind of table that doesn’t need a reason. Just a pause in the day, a chance to step outside, to let the light linger a little longer on your skin.

It’s not about perfection—it’s about presence. A few gathered flowers, a cloth that softens the space, a seat pulled out just for you or someone you love.

These are the moments that stay with us.
The quiet ones. The gentle ones. The ones we almost didn’t make time for.

Take it outside. Set the table. Let it be simple, let it be soft, let it be yours. 🌸🍃✨
