How are we feeling about back to school?? Who's ready for routine and schedules? 🤗 Who's worried about change? 🫤 Does life feel like it slows does after summer fun? 🐌

This is typically a time to reset, right? New shoes 👟 Fresh new schedules 📅 New travel coffee cup maybe ☕️

If your reset includes some time for yourself maybe therapy is on your agenda. Time to reflect and check in with yourself can be so refreshing and motivating. Therapy doesn't have to be about having a problem or major struggle. Time outdoors often leads to deeper self care and greater insight. Therapy on the farm or in the woods just lands differently. It feels nice. Comfortable. Casual.

We are joining our school age farm friends who are stepping into the next chapter this week.

While some of you are starting at new schools, Chrystal Durfee, LMHC is starting at a new job. Welcome Chrystal to the farm fam! We're excited to have you and your creativity!

Others are leaning in and expanding your skill set. Beth Litchfield, LICSW recently completed a course in grief counselor and is looking forward to supporting kids, teens, adults and families in the grief process.

🌿 We are feeling so excited and grateful! 🌿

The response to our upcoming Fall Homestead Adventure Series has been absolutely wonderful, and we are so happy to see registrations coming in so quickly! It means so much to see such enthusiasm from families who are excited to learn, explore, connect, and grow together. 💚

In the true spirit of community, we would love to bring everyone together for a special Meet & Greet! This will be a chance for those who are already joining us for the Fall Series to meet the team, connect with other families, and kick off the season together.

We would also love to welcome families who are interested in Homestead Adventures but haven’t registered yet! Come meet us, ask questions, get a feel for what we’re all about, and connect with our growing community.

After an incredible summer of learning, exploring, creating, caring for animals, and connecting with nature, we’re excited to bring Homestead Adventure into a new fall format for homeschool families! 🌿

This fall, we’re expanding from our traditional one-day program to TWO FULL DAYS each week and adding History and Science to the hands-on learning that has always been at the heart of Homestead Adventure.

We are so excited to welcome Nicole Clark MS to the farm fam! She brings with her a SMART certification - Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy. It is a very promising and effective combination of traditional therapy, sensory integration and movement based interventions to help kids, teens and adults regulate emotions.

Nicole is in the process of setting up a space where she will help you learn to recognize your needs and actively engage in regulating.

She has a couple more available appts on Wednesdays afternoons. You can email Bethany at [email protected] to get set up

Hey Farm Friends!
Does anyone have a gym mat (like the one below) that you're not using anymore? We need one for a new program at the farm and I thought I'd see if we can reduce snd reuse 🤞🤞

Nicole Clark MS is the newest member of the farm fam and she is a SMART certified therapist. Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy. This a somatic or physical model that uses specific equipment and sensory motor movements to help kids and adults regulate emotionally and physically.

We're so excited to bring another option for personalized and effective therapy to the community.
