☘️🇨🇮It was a beautiful day for a belated St. Paddy’s Day parade!🇨🇮☘️

Our club had a great day participating in the Abington St. Patrick’s Day parade today! Our float was truly a group effort and we were so proud of how it came out! As always—our float wouldn’t be complete without some goats, bunnies, dogs and even a chicken in a purse this year! 🤣🐐🐇🦮🐓 Our club is very fortunate to have kids and adults who are very giving of their time and talents and always make sure we are stocked with snacks and candy along the parade route as well!

Special thanks to Jacob Brummett for allowing us to use his trailer and shout out to Mike for driving the trailer on the parade route!

Way to go, Chicks and Chaps!!! 💚🙌🏻💚

👏🏻🍀Yesterday was another great day for Chicks and Chaps!🍀👏🏻

The five members from our club who were invited to take part in the Visual Presentation competition at the state level all received either a Grand or Reserve Champion rosette in their chosen category!! 🎉👏🏻🤗🥇

I could not be more proud of them and of all of our members this year who embraced the opportunity to prepare and present a visual presentation! For many, this was something out of their comfort zones, but they took on the challenge with determination and passion!

I love our group so much and I know this is just the beginning on VP success stories! The sky’s the limit, kiddos! I can’t wait to see what next year brings!!! Way to go, everyone!!! 🍀❤️👏🏻🎉

To say that yesterday was an amazing day for Chicks and Chaps would be an understatement!! Of the 8 club members who presented their Visual Presentations, 5 were selected to present at the state competition at the end of the month and one member even got an invitation to present at the Big E! Four of our members presented for the first time this year! 👏🏻🍀👏🏻

Our club spoke on a wide variety of topics which included:
-Pollination
-Corgis
-Missouri Fox Trotter horses
-Surrogate Sea Otters
-Stuttering
-Fostering rescue cats
-Flemish Giant rabbits
-Netherland Dwarf rabbits

I am incredibly proud of all the hard work everyone put into their presentations! We had some members who created presentations just to learn the process and some presented them to the club with the hopes of growing their confidence and presenting at VP Day next year! 🙌🏻

Public speaking is NOT easy, but the Chicks and Chaps sure made it look easy yesterday!! 👏🏻🍀👏🏻 Way to go, everyone!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

🍀🙌🏻Chicks and Chaps is ready to take on Visual Presentations at Bristol Aggie on Saturday!🙌🏻🍀

We just had 2 nights of practice and I cannot even express what a proud 4-H leader I am! 🍀🥹❤️So many of our members stepped outside of their comfort zones this year and created incredibly informative presentations accented by beautifully edited slideshows or poster boards!

We have a lot of first-time presenters this year and several who have participated before! It was clear to me as an audience member these past 2 nights that all of our members put a great deal of time and energy into their research, their slides and their delivery!! 👏🏻

I know you are all going to ROCK it on Saturday! 🙌🏻 You’ve got this!! Sending you all the positive vibes!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tonight was the Plymouth County 4-H annual awards night! 🍀🏆🏅

Congratulations to all of our members who earned project medals and/or Clover awards!! 👏🏻👏🏻

I am also very proud of our club for earning a silver award for the county C.O.R.E. Awards!!

We have accomplished so much and I am so excited to see what 2026 holds!! 🎊🍀❤️

🎄🍀Hello, Everyone!🍀🎄

Today our club had the opportunity to spread some holiday cheer bunny style! 🐰❤️🎄🎅🏻 We visited St. Joseph Manor Health Care in Brockton and our club members did an amazing job sharing information about their bunnies and letting the residents enjoy some snuggles! 🥰 This visit lifted our spirits and the spirits of the residents. 🫶🏻 We hope to return in the spring with some baby goats and baby bunnies! We missed our club members who were unable to attend today due to illness, but we respect everyone airing on the side of caution to protect the residents. We hope you all feel better soon!! ❤️‍🩹

🍀Hello, hello!🍀

I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in the East Bridgewater Christmas Parade yesterday! We truly have the BEST, most spirited families! 🥰 I love the way we all put our heads and resources together to create an amazing float! We really took the Christmas Movie Magic theme and ran with it! Our presentation of “The Star” movie was just perfect!! ✨

No word on awards yet, but I’ll keep you posted! 🤞🏻

We were sad that a few people were not able to be there with us yesterday, but your spirit was certainly with us! We have another festive event to look forward to on Dec. 20th at St. Joseph Manor! 🎄❤️🎅🏻🐰

🍀Hello!🍀

Chicks and Chaps had a great meeting last night! We did more preparations for our caroling/bunny event coming up in a couple of weeks at St. Joseph’s Manor Nursing Home in Brockton. We truly have some amazing artists in our club! The kiddos colored some bunny coloring pages to give to the residents along with the ornaments we made at our last meeting! ❤️🐰🎅🏻

We also planned out our float for Saturday’s Christmas parade in East Bridgewater! We are surely going to get the prize for cuteness between our members and our animals! 😍 Thank you to all of our families for your enthusiasm and for contributing materials and support for the parade! It’s shaping up to be a super fun event!!

We also got to celebrate another Caldeira birthday! Happy Birthday to Zoe!! 🎂🥳

🍀❤️🎄What a great meeting last night!🎄❤️🍀

We talked about our goals for the year and put them down in writing! I can’t wait to see everyone working towards their goals this year and achieving them one step at a time! ✍🏻💚✔️💪🏻

We also made holiday bunny ornaments! 🐰🎄❤️Each member made 2 ornaments—one to keep and one to donate for when we visit a local nursing home for Christmas! I’m sure they will bring some holiday cheer!! 😍

In addition, we got to celebrate Sasha’s 12th birthday and everyone got to meet our sweet new goat, Jersey!

Love this group of kids and I always look forward to our meetings!!! 🙌🏻💚🍀 Great job, everyone!!

Our club had the opportunity to do some community outreach with our animals at Tractor Supply in Holbrook on Saturday! The store was honoring the Holbrook Fire Department as Hometown Heroes and we brought the animals to continue to celebrate the Halloween weekend! The animals sported some adorable costumes!! 🎃👻🦇💀

I was so impressed with our kiddos for sharing their animal knowledge, and the feedback they got was great!! 🍀💚🍀

And we had a member birthday yesterday, too! Happy Birthday to Shannon, one of our newest members! We are so glad you spent a part of ypur special day with us! 🎉❤️🎉

The only downside was me biting into a pumpkin donut not knowing there was a bee buried in it and getting stung on the tongue! 👅 🐝😱 Thank you to our quick thinking parents Cristin and Kate for helping me and bringing me some relief! 🙌🏻❤️ I may be off pumpkin donuts for good! 🤣
