The best part of fall in Illinois isn't a corn maze or a pumpkin patch, it's a quiet family farm down a gravel road where you'll brush a shaggy Highland cow, hand feed to a curious alpaca, and get head-butted by a goat who has decided you're his new favorite person. These ten small farms are friendly, unpolished, and absolutely worth the drive, so bring a jacket and a few bucks for the feed cup.

We are open for National Alpaca Farm Day on Sunday, from 10:30-2
Open to the public for free for our 6th year 🥳
We are recognized by Illinois Department of Tourism as an Illinois Maker and by Naturally McHenry County, IL as a Mchenry County maker 😃
Jessie will be joining us with demonstrations on spinning roving into yarn 🦙 🧶 😃
