Little Tree Farms Little Tree Farm, established in 1997, is a specialized equine retirement facility located outside the small town of Wooldridge, MO.

Our 300 acre farm is devoted entirely to the high quality care of our older, retired herd. We founded our farm on the philosophy that all horses thrive with the continous companionship and group security that the herd life provides. We pride ourselves on catering to the needs of the older performance horses that comprise the majority of our herd.

Completely dependent on the weather can make hay farming a stressful time. With the amount of rain we had this spring and summer it’s been great hay growing weather but difficult to get into the fields and harvest. When it’s go time they go hard- cutting late into the night at times and working during the hottest times of the day. Apparently being a hay machine mechanic is critical to operations- not the most hardy equipment. 😆🙈 But when it all comes together it’s so rewarding! Way to go Henry (and Dan - hay mentor and co-pilot)- hard work is paying off!
