Picked up our first Tunis ewe lambs April 25th. Girls were ready to get out of the van after our 1.5 hour drive back. These girls are going into a stall until they get to know me and have some time getting used to a halter and coming for treats. Very gentle playful lambs. They are tuckered out in the pics and glad to be not moving.

My first experience lambing with a ewe in the pasture than using her lamb to bring her into her private stall space to bond. This is Peanut with her new ram lamb Patrick. Peanut was a first timer and is a great mom.

Although this is a goat farm, I have always had sheep I raised for the freezer. We have an abundance of goat milk left over and taking in bottle lambs has been a practical use of the extra milk. This year I am building my fiber flock and purchased Finn sheep that were already bred. This is Maisey who lambed February 15th with triplets. (Shearer came a week after lambing.)
