If you've visited the farm over the past several years, you may have noticed the donation jars at our checkout counters, which we offer as an alternative to collecting tips. We've donated these funds to various non-profits over the years, but this year we decided to create scholarship opportunities for our team members! At the end of our fall season, team members who met certain criteria were eligible to apply for a scholarship towards their post-secondary education or trade school program in the 2026 year. Many of you generously donated to this cause, so we would like to recognize the recipients of these scholarships publicly.
This year, the donations you gave reached an incredible total of $6371.10! Since we had so many outstanding applicants whom we felt were deserving of a scholarship, Ramseyer Farms has decided to match the funds to create $1000 scholarships for a total of 13 team members.
Congratulations to our 2025 Team Member Scholarship recipients, to be awarded in the 2026 year: Abby, Ahlaina, Ali, Anthony, Aurelian, Avery, Christian, Grace, Hope, Molly, Priscilla, Vanessa, and Violet!
Each of these individuals has demonstrated exceptional work on the farm, academic achievement, admirable character, and passionate commitment to their educational/career goals. We are excited to be able to support them in these goals, and we want to thank you sincerely for your generous help in doing so!
