Mold!
Wed Oct 7th 2:00pm - 4:00pm (EDT)
Mold is everywhere. You will find it outdoors in damp soil and dirt; in piles of rotting leaves, decaying logs and trees, and in shady wet spots on plants. Inside it grows in showers and tubs and around leaky sinks; in kitchens and basements and attics. Humans have lived with mold since the beginning of human life on earth.
Mold exposure can cause symptoms in some people. These include allergic reactions, coughing and wheezing, and eye irritation. People who are immunocompromised can experience more serious symptoms. The problem? Treating mold exposure has become a big business, and some opportunistic practitioners tell people that almost any symptom can be due to mold exposure.
In this workshop, you’ll learn about different types of mold, risks associated with exposure and degree of exposure, and various treatments that are offered for mitigation and their efficacy.
We will record this workshop in case you cannot join live.

Microplastics: Should You Be Concerned?
Wed Oct 28th 8:00pm - 11:00pm (EDT)
Microplastics are small particles that result from the breakdown of plastic. Modern humans use a lot of plastic – food containers and wrapping, in products that contain polyester like clothing and cosmetics, laundry and dishwasher pods and many other common products. The ubiquitous masks mandated during COVID increased plastic waste even more.
Microplastics have been found in water, soil and air and have the potential to harm the environment, animals, and humans.
How concerned should you be about this, and what should you do? Dr. Chuck Powley, world-renowned chemist and Wellness Forum Institute faculty member, will cover this this topic thoroughly.
If you are a current member of Wellness Forum Health, you will be automatically registered for this event. You will receive the zoom link the business day prior to the workshop before 12 noon ET.
