House-made LECSO (LEH-cho) stew is in the case today!

This Hungarian tomato stew is made with peppers, onion, garlic, and, of course, TONS of paprika. As the hallowed tomato season approaches, this simple rustic dish highlights some of our favorite summer produce with proper Hungarian tradition.

Pro Tip: try this with some smoked leccokolbasz sausage, or cook your cabbage rolls in it!

We made Chaurice today! One of our favorite Cajun Creole style sausages. Pork seasoned with fresh parsley, onion, garlic, chili flakes, cayanne, thyme, salt and pepper. Then I like to add a little white wine.

Perfect on a grill or in a gumbo.

Looking for a delicious smoked or cooked sausage? Look no further.

On top of our every day items we made a few more this week!

Boudin: a smoked cajun sausage made from pork shoulder and liver, rice and spicy Cajun seasonings.

Hurka: a Hungarian staple. Pork shoulder and liver boiled until done, seasoned with a hefty portion of dill, carmelized onion and black pepper.

Linguiça: a smoked Portuguese sausage. Seasoned with paprika, cayanne, oregano, garlic, wine. Has a nice heat that builds.
