From being a shy young boy to slowly coming into his own, Jayden has grown so much on his journey with Hands4Change Performing Arts Academy. 💙

He continues to work hard in Drama and Vocals, building his confidence, finding his voice and discovering what he is capable of. 🎭🎤

Jayden recently took part in the Ocean View Community Cohesion Network Women’s Day Community Event, where he had the opportunity to perform and showcase his talent in front of the community.

For a young person who started out so shy, seeing him step forward and take his place is something special. 🌟

💙 THE ELEMENTS – WHAT A SHOW! 🩰✨

From start to finish, The Elements had us captivated! 🎭✨

A huge thank you to Natalie Lissack School of Ballet for giving our young performers Bella, Martinique and Martinica (the twins) the opportunity to be part of this incredible production. 🌟🩰

The choreography, costumes, music, staging and performances were simply beautiful! ✨ And while the audience sees the magic on stage, we know there are countless hours of rehearsals, hard work, discipline and dedication behind every movement.

To every dancer, teacher, choreographer and production team member — take a bow! 👏 You created something truly special.

And to our parents and supporters who travelled with us and came out to cheer our young performers on — thank you for always showing up and showing support! 💙

What a wonderful experience and a beautiful reminder of why we believe so strongly in giving young people opportunities through the arts.

Here’s to more stages, more dancing, more confidence and more unforgettable memories! 🩰✨

Hands4Change Performing Arts Academy was proud to participate in the Ocean View Community Cohesion Network Women’s Day Community Event on 15 August 2026. 💙💚

Our learners had a wonderful day performing two dance items and two singing items, showcasing their talent, confidence and love for the performing arts. 🎭💃🎶

Our team also took part in the Mommy & Daughter Netball, giving it their all on the court and achieving 2nd place! 🥈🏐👏

It was a fantastic day filled with community, connection, teamwork, talent and celebration. We are incredibly proud of everyone who represented Hands4Change Performing Arts Academy.

A big thank you to our learners, parents, volunteers, coaches and supporters for making the day so special. ❤️

💙🎉 TWO EVENTS. ONE DAY. OUR KIDS WERE ON THE MOVE! 🎉💙

Today was definitely a busy one for our kids! 😂🙌

Our day started at Fish Hoek High School for the Movement & Miller Showcase – “Don’t Stop the Party!” 💃🕺🎶

And WOW… what a show! 🔥🔥🔥

A HUGE thank you to Meagan for the invitation. It was truly appreciated! The showcase was OFF THE CHAIN! 🤩👏

The dance moves were absolutely ON POINT! 💃🕺 The energy, confidence, music and choreography were incredible. You could really see the passion and dedication that went into every performance.

And let’s give credit where credit is due — the hard work behind the scenes really showed! 👏 The hours of rehearsals, practising routines, discipline and dedication from the dancers and the entire team all came together beautifully on that stage. ❤️

Our kids absolutely loved being there and experiencing the showcase. 🌟

Then it was back to Ocean View for Park-Off! 🚗🔥

A heartfelt thank you to the Park-Off organisers for welcoming our kids and giving them the opportunity to experience such an exciting event. They loved seeing all the amazing cars, meeting people and enjoying the atmosphere. 😄🙌

🌧️ And yes… the rain tried its best to put a damper on Park-Off! 😂 But it wasn’t going to stop the fun. Our kids still got to enjoy the cars, the excitement and the community vibe!

🎭⚡ We Did It… Twice! ⚡🎭

What a special afternoon at our Hands4Change Drama Class!

Our learners performed “The Legend of Lightning Larry” not once, but twice. During the audience engagement, one supporter shared a beautiful observation: the first run showed the learners were nervous, but by the second take they became comfortable, could ad-lib, be themselves, and truly enjoy the moment.

And that is exactly why we do this. 💙

This class performance forms part of our curriculum, helping learners build confidence, become comfortable in front of an audience, think on their feet, and grow as young performers.

To all our kids and learners — you made us incredibly proud. 🌟 Watching you take your bows with smiles, confidence, and elegance was a truly proud moment. Seeing your growth from the first performance to the second showed what happens when children are given the opportunity, support, and a safe space to shine.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents, grandparents, neighbours, friends, extended family members, and fellow Hands4Change learners who came to support. Your encouragement means so much.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make this class performance possible:

As one of the donors beautifully said when the BackaBuddy fundraiser reached its goal:
“Roman, go get your wheels!” 💙

And today, 4 August 2026, that moment became a reality. 🙏✨ Roman received his wheels from CE Mobility, and hearts are overflowing with gratitude. 💙

The sheer joy on Roman’s face said more than words ever could. 😊 His smile, excitement, and happiness showed the true meaning behind this journey. This was never just about a chair — it was about hope 🌟, dignity 🤍, comfort 💙, independence 🌈, and the power of people coming together 🤝.

A special and heartfelt thank you to Emily from CE Mobility - The Wheelchair & Seating Specialists and the entire team 🙏💙 who carried the family every step of the way.
