Gister het van ons GERATEC-bestuurders ’n verfrissingswerkswinkel oor Regulasie 638 bygewoon, aangebied deur die Kaapse Wynland Distriksmunisipaliteit en gefasiliteer deur Jacques Le Roux, Omgewingsgesondheidspraktisyn.

Regulasie 638 vorm ’n belangrike deel van die statutêre vereistes binne die voedseldiensbedryf en plaas ’n verantwoordelikheid op persone in beheer om te verseker dat voedselhanteerders behoorlik opgelei is in die beginsels en praktyke van voedselveiligheid en higiëne.

Baie dankie, Jacques, vir ’n praktiese en interaktiewe sessie en veral vir die waardevolle herinnering dat dit dikwels die klein, alledaagse dinge is wat ’n groot verskil maak wanneer dit by veilige voedselhantering kom.

’n Spesiale dankie ook aan ons GERATEC De Oude Renbaan-span, wat deur die loop van die dag uitstekend na almal omgesien en ons met heerlike etes en verversings bederf het. 💚

Deurlopende opleiding en bewusmaking help ons om goeie praktyke vars te hou en elke dag die standaard te handhaaf wat ons van onsself verwag.

🦋💜 A special celebration of womanhood at HSFA Vonkepark 💚🤍

Yesterday, the residents of Vonkepark celebrated Women’s Month with a beautiful themed lunch as part of the month’s festivities.

The butterfly theme and colours carried a meaningful message: 💚 green for growth and resilience, 💜 purple for strength and dignity, and 🤍 white for grace and warmth – qualities that reflect the remarkable women we honour.

Our GERATEC team had the privilege of preparing a delicious meal for this special occasion, served with care and pride. 🌸

Like a butterfly, every woman reminds us of strength, transformation, and the beauty that unfolds through every stage of life. 🦋

🎂💚 100 years… what a beautiful milestone!

It was a privilege for our GERATEC foodservice team to share in the celebration of a very special resident’s 100th birthday at HSFA.

With a cake baked with love by our team, we were grateful to play a small part in a celebration filled with warmth, care and special memories. 🌸

This past weekend, our units were filled with colour, laughter, beautiful tables and delicious food as we celebrated Women’s Day together. 🌸💗

It was a special opportunity to spoil the incredible women in our communities and to celebrate the strength, wisdom, warmth and joy they bring to the lives of those around them.
