KAUAI

KAUAI KAUAI Welgemoed Forum offers fresh, healthy food like wraps, salads, smoothies, and coffee. Order on our app. Our aim is to bring healthy eating closer to you.

Started by three Californian college friends, KAUAI reached South African shores in 1996. Today KAUAI operates under the multi-brand food group, Real Foods (Pty) Ltd, with the mission to make healthy eating easy and accessible by serving nourishing salads, wraps and warm bowls and nutrient-rich smoothies. Each menu item has been carefully developed to highlight the naturally delicious flavours of Kauai’s fresh locally sourced, whole ingredients free from added sugar, unhealthy fats and preservatives. The Kauai chicken and eggs are free range and their whey protein (sourced from grass-fed cows) is GMO-free. The focus is on real foods, which are foods that are free of harmful, synthetic chemicals. We have not only re-looked our entire healthy food ecosystem, but we have also renewed our focus on customer service excellence, which is highlighted in our new slogan “Made Naturally.”
At KAUAI we are passionate about health and wellbeing and we promise to deliver nothing but the very best in food and nutrition. Serving the best quality seasonal ingredients means we bring to our customers real food that is, where possible, free of GMO’s and has no additives, preservatives, artificial colourants and flavourants. We are committed to maintaining a supply chain that supports farmers using sustainable practices and to locally sourced fresh produce where possible. We’re aiming to inspire a ‘real food’ revolution in South Africa, where KAUAI is the ‘better place’ to be. We make health and healthy eating habits accessible and exciting. We believe in:
Nutritional superiority
Ethically sourced, Fair Trade produce
Authenticity and Freshness
Energy and Theatre

There are over 150 KAUAI stores nationwide, with continued expansion planned. Keep a look-out for new KAUAI stores coming soon.

Tomorrow (03 Oct) is SMOOTHIE DAY, and you can get yourself a Kauai smoothie for 50% OFF! 🥤

Which one are you having?

My earliest memory of having a Kauai smoothie is actually remember stealing my sister’s Peanut Butter Bomb after her workouts because I wanted to try it… and now it’s genuinely one of my favourites after GYM MAXXING 😂 On any other day, I’m definitely having a Strawberry Stinger.

Let’s SMOOTHIE MAXX tomorrow!
