Was out feeding the cows this afternoon and this wooly critter came out of nowhere!! Is it a wooly cow?? Or a sheep?? Whatever it is, I will keep it, and call it Zelda the wooly adventurer

This is the sound of happy critters crunching grass, completely oblivious to the most destructive storm we have ever seen here at Teembin Pines. Fortunately for them, many of the paddocks remained high and dry. Unfortunately for us, our house did not. With what has just come and gone, and with an extremely wet March predicted, I am wondering what we can do to better prepare for the next time this happens, as the 1 in 100 year flood seems to be coming more often than the name suggests. We saw many animals and floats coming and going last night, and many distraught posts on Facebook about concerns for their animals safety. If you are near Teembin Pines, and weather like this is forecast again, know that we have dry paddocks to move your animals to before the weather hits, rather than having to endure the worst while it's happening. No one wants to go through what we've seen these past few days.

We've started a drinking game!! For every out of town sticky-beaker that drives past and gets stuck in the flooded water and needs rescuing, we have to drink!! At this rate we will be drunk by lunchtime 🥴 🍻😂🥂
