🍓 THE COUNTDOWN IS ON — JUST 14 DAYS TO GO!
The weather has been fantastic for our strawberries and they’re well on their way! We can’t wait to welcome you back on Friday 30 October.

Just a reminder to pencil it into your diaries — we’ve got plenty happening across opening weekend!

FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER
Strawberry picking officially opens, along with fresh farm gate produce and delicious café desserts.

We’ll then be open 7 days a week until the end of April, including Melbourne Cup Day. Closed Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.

The fields are filling with strawberries - from flowers to little green berries, turning white and then red. They’re well on their way!

We’re officially opening for the season on Friday 30 October with strawberry picking, fresh farm gate produce and plenty of desserts waiting at the café.

🎃 SATURDAY 31 OCTOBER — HALLOWEEN
🎨 Face Painting with Amanda’s Creations 10am–12pm
Amanda is incredibly talented and always a favourite with the kids!

🧜 Mermaid Hair Bar with Braids by Lisa 11am–2pm
Mermaid braids, tie-in plaits, hair glitter, coloured hair spray, mini face jewels and glitter tattoos.

🎈 Halloween Balloon Twisting with Pimp My Balloons 1pm–3pm
Trev and Tam are always a crowd favourite — you never quite know what brilliant balloon creation they’ll come up with!

🦎 SUNDAY 1 NOVEMBER
🎨 Face Painting with Amanda’s Creations 10am–12pm
Another chance to let Amanda work her face-painting magic!

🐍 Animals of Oz 11am–1pm
Meet some incredible Australian animals in an interactive experience the kids always love.

Strawberry season is just around the corner! 🍓

Farmer Matt is here with our first field update for the season.

The strawberry plants are growing well and flowers are now appearing throughout the fields—which means the strawberries aren’t too far behind!

We’re on track to open on 30 October but if this lovely weather continues we may be able to open the strawberry fields a week or two earlier 🤞

We’ll keep you updated as the berries grow and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Rocky Creek soon!

🍓 Well that's a wrap for the season! 🍓

What a season it's been.

To everyone who came strawberry picking, visited the farm gate, enjoyed a coffee or dessert in the café, bought avocados, pumpkins or simply stopped by to say hello - thank you.

We know there are plenty of ways to spend a day on the Mornington Peninsula and we're so grateful that so many of you chose to spend part of yours with us. Seeing families making memories in the strawberry fields, little ones with strawberry-stained faces (including ours - you'd think we'd have learnt not to dress her in white by now!) and friends catching up over coffee and scones is what makes it all worthwhile.

A huge thank you also to our incredible team. From the craziness of the summer holidays, school holiday activities, heatwaves, long weekends and everything in between, you've been absolutely amazing. Your hard work, positivity and willingness to jump in wherever needed doesn't go unnoticed. We are incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic group of people at Rocky Creek and we're so grateful for everything you've done this season.

We'd also like to thank Lisa, Sarah and their team for taking the reins of the café this season. Their support allowed us to focus on the farm and everything happening behind the scenes, and we're incredibly grateful for all their hard work.

For now, the fields are having a well-earned rest and we're already looking ahead to next season. There are plenty of plans, ideas and improvements bubbling away behind the scenes and we can't wait to welcome you all back later this year.

Thank you again for your support, your kind words, your reviews, your photos and for making Rocky Creek such a special place to be.

We're planning to reopen on 30th October (possibly a little earlier if the weather is kind to us 🤞). As always, we'll keep you updated via our website and social media as we get closer to the new season.

🚨🍓 We’re here… this is our FINAL WEEK! 🍓🚨

Next Sunday 14th June will officially be our FINAL day for the season!

We’ll be open across the long weekend (including King’s Birthday Monday) and all next week excluding Wednesday, so if you’ve been meaning to come down — this is your sign 👀

Perfect weather for soups, roasting and stocking up for winter 😍

This weather is honestly a bit unbelievable for this time of year… pretty sure the weatherman’s confused 😄

The strawberries didn’t get the memo that the season’s nearly over 🍓

So we’re making the most of it — we’ll be open 6 days a week, closing Wednesdays only (for now).

We’ve moved to revised hours of 11am - 4pm daily (except Wednesday), with a limited café menu available.

If you’ve been meaning to come down, now’s the time. We’ve been lucky with this extended run, but this is it — get in before the season wraps up 🍓

🍓 BIG NEWS… WE’RE EXTENDING THE SEASON! 🍓
We’ve got some very exciting news — this gorgeous weather has kept the strawberries growing, which means we’ll be staying open throughout May 🙌

We honestly didn’t think we’d still be talking strawberries this late into the season, but here we are. They’re tasting incredible at the moment, they're sweet, juicy and full of flavour. So it’s a pretty special time to come and pick while the good weather lasts.

Lots of rain means lots of jam boxes available!! 🍓

If you’ve been thinking about making your own jam, now’s the time. Pop in and grab a box along with a recipe - it’s a great little weekend activity with the kids.

We’re still open for strawberry picking all weekend, so bring your wellies and get out for a bit of fresh air while you can. Plenty of time to make the most of the school holidays and we’re open 7 days a week right through to the end of April.
