The Glover’s & staff have been super busy behind scenes creating a new adventure for all to enjoy. They purchased their new farm only 3km away from Carinya Farmstay. The new property called “Nowhere Else Better“ is in the final stages of setting up for a new unique farmstay experience that sleeps up to 10 people in the same ranch-style home. They are very excited and looking forward to inviting families & friends to enjoy this amazing experience.

During your stay you’ll get to engage with a variety of friendly farm animals big and small.
Egg collection 🪺
There is something rather special about collecting your own eggs, and it’s one of the simple pleasures in life that everyone can enjoy while staying on the farm. Collecting the warm, freshly laid eggs and then sitting around the family table for a traditional farmer’s breakfast, enjoying good food, family time and interacting together — just like families used to.
For the children, it’s a lovely opportunity to slow down, and experience where their food really comes from. And for the grown-ups, it might just bring back a few memories of country life and simpler days.
Stargazing 🌌
Rug yourself up in a warm blanket, grab our binoculars and stroll down to the orchard. Relax on the grass, and gaze into the starry sky.
This is where the magic happens. On a clear night, the spectacular night sky comes to life, with the Milky Way stretching across the heavens and thousands of stars lighting up the sky. A truly magical experience to enjoy while staying on the farm.
BBQ 🍖
There is nothing better than the smell of firing up the Aussie family BBQ at the back door, enjoying the garden surrounds while relaxing on the large, comfy outdoor setting.
Fire pit 🪵
Sit back, relax and enjoy the warmth of the fire pit in the orchard, while sharing stories, laughter and making memories together.
Surrounded by the beautiful farm, the fresh country air and the sounds of nature, it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy each other’s company. From roasting marshmallows with the kids to sitting around chatting late into the evening, these are the simple moments and wonderful experiences that make a farm stay truly special.
Time to Explore the farm & magnificent views 🌾
Put on your walking boots and let’s take you on a 10-minute walk to the top of the farm to capture the magnificent views.
Please follow the gravel track central to the farmland and head to the top. This is where the majestic Mt. Roland really stands out, along with the spectacular rolling hills of the Kentish Hillside country side.
Picnic 🧺
Place your picnic basket under your arm, grab your blanket, and you’re all set. Let’s step back in time and experience that traditional family picnic under the orchard trees. Immerse yourself in nature and capture the surrounding birdlife on the pond.
Animal Nursery 🐾
Animal lovers, this is an experience you don’t want to miss out on. Our cute little furry friends love interacting with the guests. Their cheeky characters and loving nature allow you to interact with them on a personal level and enjoy the joys of farm animals.
Horses 🐎
While you enjoy the stunning views at the end of your farm walk, engage with Heather’s different breeds of beautiful horses, with graceful souls and a wonderful connection with nature. Horses have a way of capturing your heart. (Please note horses are only to interact with, not for riding).
Indoor Recreation 🧩
After exploring the farm and all things in nature, it’s time to relax as a family in the evening and take on the family members with some eight-ball, air hockey, ping pong, board games, or just sit back and watch your favourite show on the Big screen.

Naomi Parker – Roaming Harvest
Cooking has always been a part of Naomi’s world from birth, growing up with a mother and grandmother who made everything from scratch and embraced the traditional way of living off the land.
Naomi has had a broad range of experience working throughout Victoria, Kangaroo Island in South Australia and many other locations, gaining a wonderful appreciation for local produce, traditional cooking and the importance of using fresh, quality ingredients.
Naomi has also had the privilege of cooking for the renowned Australian cook and food producer Maggie B**r at her farm shop, an experience that has added to her extensive knowledge and passion for authentic, wholesome food.
Naomi has a true love and passion for Tasmania’s beautiful local produce and is renowned for creating delicious food. Her approach is all about allowing the quality and flavour of the produce to shine through, with a wonderful connection to the land, our local farmers and producers.
For our guests, Naomi brings something rather special to the farm stay experience — traditional, authentic Tasmanian cooking made with fresh local ingredients and plenty of heart.
From our own free-range eggs and beautiful local produce to the wonderful seasonal ingredients Tasmania has to offer, Naomi creates food that is wholesome, genuine and full of flavour.
It’s more than just having a chef prepare a meal. It’s about experiencing the true taste of Tasmania, enjoying traditional food around the table and knowing that the ingredients have been carefully chosen from the land around us.
