Arak vs Arrack!!!

Sounds almost the same, but they’re NOT the same!!
🥃 Arak is traditionally associated with the Middle East, especially countries like Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. It’s typically an anise flavoured spirit, often made from grape-based spirit and enjoyed diluted with water.

🥥 Arrack is a completely different family of spirits! It can refer to traditional spirits made across parts of South and Southeast Asia, with styles including coconut arrack from Sri Lanka and Batavia arrack from Indonesia.
