And so it begins. These birds have been raised to feed the family. At 9 weeks old I have watched them grow and Eat enormous amounts of food. So much that they can not move their bodies and scrape the feathers off their chest. I tried to give them a good but short life and yet when given pasture the local hawk thought to kill two of them. Lucky little Lucy knew what was happening and ran to their rescue or we would of lost alot more. So we ended up with 8 Roast chooks for the freezer. Home grown. Know what you eat kind of food. Love it 🥰
