ATTENTION JOB POSTING
Mader Ranches, a purebred Simmental beef cattle operation, currently seeking a full time hired hand.
Looking for a hard-working, self-motivated, responsible person to work on cow/calf and hay operation. Must be able to work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision. Experience and mechanical aptitude are an asset.
Duties will include fencing, operating and maintaining farm equipment, assisting with haying, feeding cattle daily with vertical mixer wagon, bedding and other general ranch work. Will sometimes require to help with cattle operations, must have some cattle sense and general knowledge of noticing sick cattle and treating those sick cattle.
40 hour minimum week. Must be flexible with the seasons. Calving and haying specifically. Full-time hours with accommodations an option.
We are seeking an energetic addition to this family run operation.
Requirements: Applicant must have a clean driver’s abstract, no criminal record and provide references with their resume.
