Norns Creek Farm Norns Creek Farm is located just outside of Castlegar a few kms up Pass Creek Road, crossing Norns Creek to access the farm.

Owned and operated by Russ and Vanessa Terwoort, it was a long time dream that became a reality in 2024!

Time is flying by - harvest season is upon us - another beautiful year of berries and garlic and starting hot sauces, cowboy candy, salsa and pickles! Garlic will be posted for sale shortly - or email nornscreekfarm at gmail.com to put your order in! Strawberries are done for the season, there may be more blueberries after we fill the pre orders, then later in August a huge crop of blackberries and fall raspberries will be ready. Very thankful for this busy but fulfilling life!

It’s been a beautiful June here at the farm - the month of strawberries and scapes and seeing everything else grow after a slow start in cold temperatures. Very excited for the coming months!

2026 season is here!! Still waiting for those warmer nighttime temps to get our peppers and tomatoes in the ground but the farm is spring prepped and ready to go - which we need to give a huge thanks to our amazing farm worker who has done so much hard work we couldn’t have done it without her!

We have been hard at work getting organized and ready to plant out the greenhouse and the farm….unfortunately the upcoming cold nights might mean we have to wait a bit longer. These plant babies need in the dirt!

Well another season is upon us - been a few busy months raising all our seed babies - all the ingredients for cowboy candy, hot sauce, salsa, pickles and all the other favourites! We have some really interesting super hot peppers this year - I’m excited to see what kind of spice we are in for!
