Hmong Silverudds- Fibro Layer update šŸ’š

Dear customer Brittny shared her photos of this beautiful pullet she raised from a chick from us. LOOK at the beautiful shade of green eggs she is laying now!

While we canā€™t guarantee what shade of blue / green the Hmong Silverudds will lay, they are guaranteed to be colourful now that our Silverudds roosters are all confirmed DNA tested homozygous for the blue egg gene.

Get ready for chicks in Sept!! Or hatching eggs anytime as these are incredible producers šŸŒŸ

These are lovely birds - beautiful, friendly and lay nice dark eggs. Iā€™m generally sold out indefinitely and the chicks are top sellers. But now Iā€™m caught up on orders and donā€™t mind taking a hatching break šŸ£

It was just a matter of time before I tried this. Took some beautiful fibro Hmong Hens and put them with Opal Legbar roosters šŸ’„šŸŒ€

The resulting chicks are guaranteed to be blue egg layers, and Iā€™m sure very stunning appearance wise and excellent layers.

And maybeā€¦. s*x linked? Only time and DNA testing will tell for certain but Iā€™m excited to find out.

Our first hatch of these are 50/50 black with a white head dot (male?) and cinnamon stripey (female?).

Notice how the cinnamon chicks are so dark skinned already, much the way the Zombies s*x link for female at hatch.

And those black onesā€¦ white head spot, less fibro. Could they be guaranteed male?
