I grew up with a passionate stamp collecting grandma. Her and I would spend hours looking at and sorting through stamps. To this day I still buy stamp books - not the rolls.

I was thrilled to find this booklet honouring Farmerettes and Soldiers of the Soil. These programs were created during the two wars.
Such an interesting piece of our Canadian history.

Hearty fall vegetables are picked and in storage for sale in our Office Store at the farm. Cabbage, squash, spinach, swiss chard, onions, brussel sprouts, tomatoes... sounds like the makings of a perfect soup! The Office Store is open every Monday & Wednesday from 9:00 - 3:00 - we're down the lane by the house.

Pumpkin Patch! Gina is part of the patch at Gasoline Alley farmers' market, but you'll find Jungle Farm pumpkins at all three year-round Innisfail Growers booths. Just in time for Halloween!

Back home- making onion jam now. First we have to caramelize the onions, then cook them. This is a great item to add to your charcuterie board or sandwich.

Ask for a sample the next time you are at the farmers market.
