Leonard was very proud of himself on our trail walk after discovering what he considered the world’s tastiest bone hidden along the path. Safe to say the rest of the walk was spent carrying his “treasure” with maximum determination and zero intention of sharing. 🐾🦴

Congratulations to all 3 recipients 🥳

🎉 Congratulations to our 2026 QSLB Dressage Junior Bursary Recipients! 🎉

QSLB Dressage is proud to recognize this year’s Junior Bursary winners: Harper Harrison, Clara Cooney, and Avery Harper! 👏🐴

These talented young riders have demonstrated incredible passion, dedication, and commitment to the sport of dressage. Through countless hours spent training, learning, and developing partnerships with their horses, each rider has shown a strong desire to continue growing both in and out of the arena.

From working hard to improve their riding skills and horse connections, to gaining valuable experience within the dressage community, these juniors represent the future of our sport. Their enthusiasm, perseverance, and commitment to advancing their dressage journeys made them outstanding candidates for this year’s bursary program.

We are excited to support Harper, Clara, and Avery as they work toward their 2026 riding and competition goals, and we look forward to following their progress throughout the season!

A huge thank you to Belleville Nissanand Peter Boyer Chevrolet Buick GMC for graciously sponsoring this program and generously donating the funds to support these young riders and their dressage goals. Your support helps invest in the future of our equestrian community, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued generosity. 💙

Congratulations again to all three recipients!

Daisy really needs to find a home this week.

Super sweet 12 y/o 13.3 grade QH/Welsh mare. Kids are a bit too chaotic for her so she would prefer a quiet teen or adult.
Wtc, trail rides, small jumps.

Spring fertilizer application day 🌱

This is easily our biggest expense of the season and one of the most important. Everything we do with hay starts here. We’re at the mercy of the weather to get it on at the right time, and it plays a huge role in whether we can produce hay we’re truly proud of.

This year, it stings a little more. Rising costs tied to political instability have driven up both fertilizer prices and the cost of running the equipment to apply it. There’s no cutting corners on this step, but it’s definitely felt.

It’s an investment in the fields, in the animals that rely on this feed, and in the quality we aim to deliver year after year. Here’s hoping the weather cooperates from here on out 🤞🌾

Good boy Roger 💗

Roger is a great example of why it is so important to handle your young horses regularly and with intention. As he begins his ground work to be backed, he has taken everything in stride and with curiosity. His first time wearing a surcingle was very uneventful, and he continued to do what was asked of him with calm understanding.
These are the types that will go on to be exceptional amateur types; exactly as Roger was bred to be.
