Calling all seed savers — and seed-saving curious! (FREE EVENT)

In case you haven’t heard, as part of their West Coast tour, FarmFolk CityFolk, will be travelling to qathet / Powell River next weekend with their Mobile Seed Cleaner!

There will be two opportunities to learn about how and why to save seed from vegetables, flowers, and fruits, see manual and mechanical seed-cleaning techniques in action, and bring your own seed to be cleaned using their exciting arsenal of seed-cleaning equipment.

Bring your seed for cleaning — any amount, time allowing.

Monday, Sept. 28 | 10:00–3:00

Eating ripe fruits from a tree is one of the most primal feels. It’s like being transported back to the jungle past. ✨🍎🦍

This tree is heritage apple variety called King.

There are so many moments of gratitude throughout the season.

What a gift and blessing to enjoy the efforts of others who planted and cared for these trees on this land over the decades.

May we also leave a trail of sweet fruits and greatness behind for the next generations!
