Wow, after a week of smoke, it felt like pure bliss to breathe in clean mountain air. The smoke sure makes you appreciate the simplicity of clean air.

The crew has been hustling all week harvesting crops. The first potatoes are in, celery is in, and delicious watermelons are pumping among all the regulars.

We can't think of a better way to start your Saturday than heading down to the LFI Revelstoke Farmers Market and grabbing some fresh local produce.

It’s mid-July and the crops are pumping. Harvest, wash, pack, on repeat. Try to fit a couple other farm tasks in between. Sometimes there just doesn’t seem like quite enough time in the day.

We are bringing lots of delicious veggies to , a very limited amount of the first tomato’s of the season. Get there early and beat the heat. See you there.

We got the mother load of early broccoli and cauliflower this weekend! Also our first carrots and snap peas, and jeez they are cute AND so crunchy and sweet. Pop down to the market for a quick grocery shop tomorrow and you will find our stand is Popping with fresh veggies of all sorts; grown right here in Revelstoke.

If you miss the market you can also swing past the farm stand in the big eddy and grab the goods while they last! We’re excited to have Rupee’s organic cherries coming in tomorrow afternoon too 😋

Come down to this lovely spring day!

You will meet Sage & Georgie, two of our Smiling employees who are helping us with markets this year so we can spend more Saturdays as a family. So you will see Chris and I a little less, and meet more of our team that grows your beautiful food.

Both have been with our farm for over 3 years and have been working hard behind the scenes here to grow and harvest our veggies in the Big Eddy. They can answer any of your questions about gardening, the farm, the produce and what you can make at home if you are looking for inspiration.
