Salix and Sedge Salix and Sedge is a small market farm in the Salmo Valley. We produce a wide variety of certified organic vegetables.

Cali and I bought a farm just outside of Salmo in 2014, and 2015 is our first growing season. This page is to provide photos, updates, recipes, successes, failures and the general goings on of our farm. We'll try to keep it fresh and updated with new content, but no promises, we're pretty busy trying to figure out this farming thing.

We've got a basil and garlic scapes sale on today! Buy a bag of basil and take a free bag of scapes. While quantities last! I made a mish-mash of a pesto last night with basil, parsley, scapes, feta, nutritional yeast, walnuts, cashews and olive oil. We tossed it with pasta, broccoli, zucchini and crumbled sausage.... So good!
