Three nights a week, six months straight, no reason needed beyond it being the weekend.

This one’s been a couple of years in the making, first with Winterbrau Weekends, then Katie’s Cocktail Night, now combined into one. Come inside, grab a stool, and let us pour.

🥮 New Release Tuesday - Gilded Age Sticky Toffee Pudding Brown Ale! 🥮

Sticky toffee pudding didn’t need to become a b**r, but here we are, and nobody is complaining. Gilded Age layers rich caramel and dark molasses into a brown ale that’s generous without being cloying. Lactose rounds out the body into something soft and full. Vanilla threads through the back end like it was always part of the plan. The kind of dessert you’d order twice, except this time it comes in a can.

SG4 • Anniversary Party is on! 🥳

Today is the day; we’re celebrating four years of Small Gods with a party that has a little bit of everything that made year four so special:

🎧 5PM • DJ Ray Spinnin’ Tunes

In addition to that, we’ve got $5 Stein pours of Jackson Yauck’s Neverending Mule Birthday Cask, as well as some delicious haut dogs designed by our first three Sidney Speakeasy participants, put together by our incredible taproom team while supplies last.

All of those dogs are also paired with amazing cocktails from Taproom Manager Katie! 🍸

Did we make Jonny and Jackson Lady & The Tramp a haut dog because we’re so excited? Yes, yes we did. Will we be able to get them to recreate this photo at some point today? Probably not, but we’ll try!

🌲 We’re proud to share that Small Gods Brewing has been named a BC Green Business Green Leader for 2026-2027, the program’s highest certification level.

This certification means something to us. From day one, stewardship has been one of our core values, and being verified against real, measurable standards is what makes that more than just a nice word. Small Gods is a proud member of BC Green Business, a certification program run by Synergy Foundation. As a BC Green Business Green Leader, we undergo biannual audits that assess and verify our environmental practices across energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and sustainable purchasing.

Since joining the program in 2022, here’s what that’s looked like:

💧 2,862m³ water saved
♻️ 17,690 kg waste diverted
⚡ 61,474 kWh energy conserved
🌍 12.06 tCO2 carbon reduced
🚫 207,428 single-use plastic items reduced
🌳 6.3 trees worth of forest conserved

None of this happens by accident. It’s motion sensors and LED lighting, it’s byproducts finding a second life instead of the bin, it’s the small decisions made every single day by our team. We still have work to do, but we’re proud of how far we’ve come.

🐋 New Release Wednesday - Whale Rider Nectaron IPA! 🫍

Brewer Jackson’s lovely lady Daisy 🌼 is proud to announce the release of the 2026 crop-year edition of Whale Rider, showcasing a ton of Nectaron Hops fresh off the boat from New Zealand! This is our love letter to one of our favourite hops on the market, bursting with Citrus, Pineapple, Passionfruit, Grapefruit, and Stonefruit, that makes a big, juicy IPA that will keep you coming back for another sip time and time again. Released once a year, and gone before you know it.

☕️🍺 New Release Tuesday - Rutina Café Ce***za Negra w/ Boomtown & Routine 🍺 ☕️

brings world-class hospitality without the fuss. Routine Coffee & Supply ™️ does specialty coffee the same way, a few blocks away on Fort Street. Two neighbours worth knowing. Put the three of us together and something good was always going to happen.

Brewed with café de olla in mind, where cinnamon and piloncillo do as much work as the beans. Routine’s coffee brings a bright, smooth roast layered over a clean, light-bodied dark l***r. Rich enough to mean it, easy enough that it tastes like another!

🟣 New Release Wednesday - Voices in the Evening Blackberry Blood Orange Sour! 🟠

Voices in the Evening is our much-loved Blackberry Blood Orange Sour, which has become many people’s cool-season obsession. Loaded with massive amounts of blackberry and blood orange purée, then back-sweetened with lactose sugar and a touch of vanilla to smooth the edges. Don’t expect this one to be around for long!

🥥🍫 New Release Tuesday - Milk Chocolate Coconut Porter! 🍫🥥

Can you feel the end of summer slowly creeping in? Don’t blink or you’ll miss it! The use of lactose sugar, along with fair-trade cocoa nibs, gives this porter a rich, creamy milk chocolate character that is then amplified by a bounty of shaved coconut. This outlier of a transatlantic treat may not take you to Mars, but it could be the tipping point that gets you talking to strangers.
