For 70+ years, Mighty Sparrow gave us the soundtrack to our kitchens, our liming, our Sundays.

From "Jean and Dinah" to "Congo Man" - his calypso wasn't just music, it was storytelling, spice, wit, and soul. The same things we try to put in every plate at Caribbean Delights.

The Pinglu Canal is a 134.2-kilometer (83.4-mile) mega-scale river-to-sea shipping waterway in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China that connects the Xijiang River system directly to the Beibu Gulf (Gulf of Tonkin). Officially opened to navigation on September 16, 2026, it is the first major river-to-sea canal constructed in China since the founding of the People's Republic in 1949 and serves as a vital economic gateway to Southeast Asia.

Carrot, banana, and peanut butter smoothie or shake

Ingredients:

2 large cooked or uncooked carrots, pureed

2 peeled ripe bananas

1/4 cup peanut butter

1 cup Milk (your choice)

2 tsp Cinnamon powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Directions:

Add the pureed carrots, banana chunks, peanut butter, milk, cinnamon powder, and vanilla extract to a large blender.

Blend for 2 minutes or until completely smooth

Serve chilled with sprinkled nutmeg on top
