From Friuli to the fairway.

We were thrilled to welcome Elisabetta Nonino to Golf for Heart in support of UHN Foundation, sharing a taste of one of Italy’s most iconic distilling families.

Guests enjoyed pours of Nonino Grappa and the Grappa Smash, proving that grappa belongs just as comfortably in a cocktail glass as it does after dinner.

Great spirits, a great cause, and a beautiful day in support of UHN.

A wonderful evening spent with , learning about her family’s remarkable history and the role they have played in shaping both grappa and Friuli’s rich culinary culture.

We tasted four unique expressions from the Nonino portfolio; Nonino Grappa Friulana 43, L’Aperitivo Nonino, Prunella Mandorlato, and Amaro Quintessentia. A wonderful conversation exploring the art of Italian distillation, and even had the chance to make a few cocktails together.

A heartfelt thank you to Elisabetta for sharing her knowledge, stories, and passion with us, and to Eataly for their warm hospitality in hosting this special event. Salute! 🥂

The arrival of warmer weather calls for a different kind of wine selection! Bottles that are versatile enough for an afternoon on the patio, relaxed dinners with friends, and those spontaneous moments when one glass inevitably turns into another.

We’ve put together a mixed case featuring three wines we’ll be reaching for all season long: a vibrant Soave from La Cappuccina, the ever-popular Triennes Rosé, and Punta Flechas Malbec from Flechas de Los Andes for evenings when something a little more substantial is in order.

Here’s what’s in the case:

La Cappuccina Soave | Veneto, Italy.

Your go-to white when the sun’s out. Organically farmed Garganega from a family estate in Monteforte d’Alpone, with bright citrus, white flowers, and that signature whisper of almond on the finish. Crisp, clean, and made for the first pour of the afternoon.

Triennes 2025 Rosé | Provence, France

Provence pink with a serious pedigree; this is the project founded by Aubert de Villaine of DRC and Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac, two Burgundy legends having a little fun in the south. Pale, dry, and endlessly easy, with fresh strawberry, peach, and a saline lift. The bottle that empties itself.

Punta Flechas Malbec 2023 | Uco Valley, Argentina

From the Edmond de Rothschild estate high in the Andes, proof that an everyday Malbec can still have polish. Plush and juicy with blackberry, plum, and a violet note, soft enough to sip but happy alongside anything off the grill. Your evening wine when the temperature finally drops.

$170.06 per Case | 6 bottles

Only 48 cases available, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Follow the link below to secure yours before the long days catch up with us.

Friday pours just hit different.

This week, it’s the Eclo Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut in our glass.

Crisp, bright, endlessly drinkable, and exactly the kind of sparkling we want to pour liberally heading into the weekend. Fine bubbles, citrus, white flowers, and that fresh, clean finish that somehow makes everything feel a little more celebratory.

Proof that good sparkling doesn’t need a special occasion… though Friday certainly helps.

What’s in your glass tonight? 🥂

An evening of Italian spirits, cocktails, and aperitivo culture with one of Friuli’s most iconic families.

We are thrilled to welcome Elisabetta Nonino to Toronto for a special edition of Uncorked at Eataly Yorkville.

Over the course of the evening, guests will explore four signature Nonino expressions; Grappa Friulana, Aperitivo, Prunella Mandorlata, and Amaro Nonino, while discovering the history, craft, and innovation that transformed grappa into one of Italy’s great spirits.

The experience continues with a hands-on cocktail session featuring two cocktails to mix and enjoy, including a grappa-based creation and the perfect Aperitivo Spritz for golden hour. Small bites will be served throughout.

Warm, engaging, and unmistakably Italian. This is an evening designed for cocktail lovers, curious beginners, and anyone drawn to the ritual of aperitivo.

The 2025 Triennes Rosé has landed, and it’s the bottle that sets the tone for the whole season.

Triennes is the Provençal project of two Burgundian icons, Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The pedigree is remarkable. The wine, year after year, is genuinely delicious.

Mostly Cinsault, with Grenache, Syrah, and a hint of Merlot. Pale in colour, forward with strawberry, finishing with a zingy lift, but there’s real depth underneath: subtle spice, a juicy mid-palate, cleansing acidity, and a stony texture that’s as at home with grilled fish and summer vegetables as it is with something properly spiced.

Stock your fridge from May through September. This is the bottle for every patio, every dinner outside, every impromptu invitation worth saying yes to.

Our most popular rosé, vintage after vintage. $22.62 per bottle.

Robert Parker put it best: “This is worth hunting down.”

Wine of the Week: La Cappuccina 2024 Soave

There is a certain kind of wine made for long weekends. The bottle that starts with aperitivo and manages to carry you through dinner. Bright, effortless, quietly compelling.

La Cappuccina’s 2024 Soave is exactly that.

Organic Garganega grown on volcanic soils east of Verona, fermented in stainless steel and aged seven months on lees for texture and depth. Think white flowers, lemon zest, thyme, and a subtle flinty edge that keeps you coming back for another glass.

At just 12% alcohol, it is built for warm afternoons, open tables, and easy second pours.

$26.95 per bottle

Tuscany was served on a plate this past Tuesday at , where the legendary wines of met their match in a stunning four-course menu. We were honored to have .bourrat join us to share the stories behind every bottle, guiding us through a culinary journey that showcased the full range and evolution of the house.

The evening began with butter-poached lobster and a silky Risotto Bianco, which provided a rich, elegant contrast to the crisp, vibrant acidity of the 2024 Chardonnay.

Philippe then led us into the 2022 Chianti Classico, paired with a savory Venison Carpaccio topped with truffle pecorino to highlight the wine’s bright red fruit and spice.

For the main event, the powerhouse 2022 Cepparello found its soulmate in braised Australian Wagyu shortrib and wild mushrooms, a pairing defined by incredible structure and savory depth.

We closed the evening on a high note with a vanilla bean Crème Brûlée, which caramelized crunch was beautifully balanced by the concentrated, amber soul of the Vin Santo (an exclusive treat that’s not available in Ontario)

It was a rare privilege to hear Philippe’s insights while seeing the “full shape” of this iconic estate in one sitting.

If you missed out on this one, keep a close eye on our feed for more exclusive winemaker dinners and tastings coming soon. Head to the link in our bio to see what’s next on the calendar and secure your seat at the table! 🥂✨
