If you’re looking for your next Toronto food obsession, put NOYAA Toronto, located at The Well, on your list. 🍽️✨ From beautifully plated dishes to bold, unforgettable flavours, every bite feels like a special occasion. The cozy atmosphere, creative menu, and attention to detail make it the perfect spot for date night, catching up with friends, or simply treating yourself. This is the first time I have had so much fun at a restaurant. The atmosphere, restaurant design, and Mediterranean-Asian contemporary menu align so well. As soon as the restaurant hit 9pm during the weekend, it became very lively with a DJ and performances. I really enjoyed this place!

Trust me… this is one of those places you’ll be thinking about long after the last bite. ❤️

Lyla Toronto is a well-kept secret in Toronto, co-owned by hospitality veterans Daniel van Welie and Amen Habtemariam, who also founded Cano and Terroni. This stylish, upscale restaurant, known for contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, has been elevated with the addition of Executive Chef Danny Kim and Sous Chef Seungho Jeon, both of whom have experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants. The new kitchen team begins the season with a fresh menu inspired by modern Italian, French, and Asian influences, and it’s something you won’t want to miss. From risotto to uni pasta, striped jackfish steak, and lamb, I enjoyed every dish. Best of all, I get to share it with like-minded food lovers. ❤️

Some bars are disguised as coffee shops. Do you know that in Toronto, there is a BBQ restaurant disguised as a cafe? , located on St. Clair W, is a small corner-store cafe with a twist. Not only can you get fresh pastries and coffee during the day, but you can also order and enjoy wine or beer on the spot! I ordered the half sampler with an add-on order of dry rub wings, and it can definitely feed more than 2 people. The meat is so juicy and flavorful. Make sure you don't skip the sides, as they have some of the best mac n cheese in town! The extra patio space is perfect for a fun summer family or friends night out!

Don't miss out on their ALL YOU CAN EAT ribs night on sunday or wings night on Wednesday. Kids eat FREE on summer school night Sunday to Thursday!

One of my top family-run Vietnamese restaurants, , has opened its third location near the Yorkdale mall area at Dufferin. It’s their largest spot, with a dog-friendly patio. What I really love about them is their commitment to sharing some of the most authentic Vietnamese cuisines with Toronto. For a limited time, you can try their Crab Tapioca Noodle or Smoke Beef Brisket Pho, which you won’t find anywhere else in town! Be sure to follow .tonyh for the latest updates and new dishes from Vietnoms. I’m really happy to see their success, from starting as a takeout place to now running a full restaurant! Congratulations!

Some dinners you will eat and forget. However, there are ones you will remember for a long time. Not long ago, I attended a special dinner curated by , from .to, and . Not only did I get to try traditional Cantonese dishes from the chefs at Lai Wah Heen, but I also sampled what a similar dish would be like using contemporary cooking methods and modern ideas from Chef Nick. Best of all, each dish was carefully paired with different types of Dalmore whisky, from Port Wood to King Alexander Single Malt. Some whisky even blended into the dishes we ate. Overall, the dinner was very fun and unique. Especially for someone like me who has eaten Chinese food most of my life, I still found the flavours familiar yet different from what I used to know. Thank you for hosting such a great night for all of us. It was definitely a night to remember.

🍔 Happiness nestled between two buns.

For one of Toronto’s top smash burgers, check out . It features perfectly smashed beef patties with crispy edges, melted cheese, fresh toppings, and their signature Happy Sauce all housed in a soft potato bun. Founded in 2020 by chef and restaurateur Matty Kalisperas as a Little Italy pop-up and side project, it has since expanded to three locations across Toronto🤤. Plus, it’s 100% Halal.

Don’t miss the waffle fries or milkshake—they’re worth every calorie.

Simple. Fresh. Delicious. This is true comfort food.

🎂✨ Another trip around the sun deserves something unforgettable.

This year, I celebrated my birthday with an extraordinary dining experience at one of Canada’s only 2-STAR restaurants, 1st in and 3rd in North America , . Every course was a masterpiece—thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and full of surprises that made the evening feel truly special.

I highly recommend joining the tour before dinner, as it offers a more in-depth look at how they farm their own food for the restaurant. The veggies I ate that night became the center stage of the dinner.

Here’s to another year of chasing amazing food, unforgettable experiences, and making every celebration count. 🥂🍽️ Thank you, .ryu, for the great hospitality that night.
