Zimmer Ranch is Growing Again!

We are searching for a dedicated Farm Hand to assist with farm & garden duties and summer painting.

Pay is offered at $22-$25/hour based on attitude and dependability.

Hours available: weekdays, 8-20 per week.

*Must be comfortable working alongside farm animals.
*Must be able to commute to Windermere, on time.
*Must be willing to provide a set schedule each week.
*Must be able to take direction, change direction, work on your own, communicate effectively and be very dependable.
*This is a labour position - must be willing to work outdoors and be physically fit and able to lift 40lbs.
*Absolutely NO Smoking on the property.
*Tasks are varied each week, but will include painting fences and barns, moving hay bales, raking, digging, pushing, mowing grass, stacking firewood, general labour duties.

Zimmer Ranch is so pleased and honored to welcome Smokey Jo and Twig .... mini-horse brothers adopted from a farm in Spillimacheen.
🐴
Smokey Jo ('lil Jo) is very shy and timid, but loves to be scratched....and Twig is sassy and curious, slow to trust but so eager for love! 🐴
They are getting used to their new home and all their Zimmer barnyard cousins.

Stop by the fence-line to greet our new boys.... call for them, they might be in the far barnyard, maybe they'll come to say hi. 🐴💙🐴💚

Have you been to our Farm Stand lately? We have been busy this winter, whipping up homemade Zimmer Ranch preserves including pickled carrots, salsa, apple jam, beet slaw and pepper jelly! Pop by for a visit with the animals and while you're at it, get something delicious for yourself! 🤠

A few weeks ago we went on a search for a local photographer to help capture the essence of Zimmer Ranch. We were surprised by the number of talented people who approached us, each with something special to bring to the table!

In the end, two outstanding photographers created portfolios for us that absolutely blew us away: Denise Hoffgaard and Estelle Gonord.

All letters will receive a personalized reply.

Parents should include:
- a parent's email or phone # and
- a note with a few details about the child to help Santa write a personal message.

Ms. Zimmer-Claus will then arrange for Santa to write back, with pickup details provided via text or email once the response is ready.
