Erwan and Max Scott are joining us this Friday, September 4th, for our next Shoppen Social Club. Erwan recently joined the team at Succulent Spirits & Co as Marketing Development Manager, and in collaboration with Juuls Engros A/S and Max, they will present the iconic Tequila Cascahuin Tequila portfolio. Erwan will also share the story behind Succulent Spirits.

Cascahuin has been crafting authentic, traditional tequila in El Arenal, in the Valleys region of Jalisco, since 1904. Founded by Salvador Rosales Briseño, the distillery remains family owned through four generations and stands as a beacon of artisanal production, utilizing brick ovens, tahonas, open-air fermentation, and copper pot stills.

We will have samples flowing, delicious cocktails pouring, and special offers on all featured products throughout the event. Drop by and join the conversation.

This Friday, Cecilie Weisberg visits the shop to share two exceptional, innovative vermouths from Catalonia, Spain.
Cecilie is a sommelier educated at the University of Tarragona, living in a coastal Catalan village where she lives and breathes wine culture. Beyond teaching wine heritage and crafting regenerative wines, she imports these standout vermouths created by her friend and winemaker.

This bottle is probably the most anticipated Tequila bottle in the world right now and Shoppen is the only retailer in Denmark that is lucky enough get an allocation of it. We have 36 bottles and that’s it.
Our dear friend Sophie Decobecq of Tequila CALLE 23 has finally set a release date and it’s the 23rd of August!

Break Even Bottle
Honestly, for a bottle this rare, Velier should really include an actual frameable print of Elliott Erwitt’s photography. Until that happens, we’ll just have to enjoy what’s inside.
is back from vacation with Foursquare 16 Years Old Elliott Erwitt Edition (Magnum Series #1).
Distilled in 2005 and bottled after 16 full years of tropical maturation in Barbados, this is an incredibly limited collaboration between Velier, La Maison du Whisky, and the iconic Magnum Photos agency. Only 1200 bottles of this 70cl expression exist worldwide. It is a Single Blended Rum aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, bottled at a powerful 61% ABV.
Available at the bar from Friday at 12:00. We pour at cost until the bottle is completely empty.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens with refined notes of blood orange, dark chocolate, leather, and nutmeg. The palate is broad and buttery, carrying flavors of vanilla cream, licorice, and apricot pie. The finish is exceptionally long, warm, and structured, leaving behind traces of salted caramel, dark cacao, and toasted oak.
