Lovely Leon Left!

Leon gave notice last week to focus on college and we need a new mucker outer 2-3 days a week. If you have sense then you will go racing too. Expect to read a crystal ball, seems to be a general trainer thing so not too unreasonable (brushing horses, sweeping the yard and applying common sense/fitting in with madhouse seem to be extra 🤯🤔)

We also need a nanny type magician.

Expect to think outside the box
It wont be a clean job, if you want to rock up with fabulous face and nails we aren't for you. If you rock up with these and leave mawkit (lauren coulter or Niamh Mcgee talking about you, please come back)
Pay will be legal per hour with an element of piecerate. If it takes you all day incl monster/juice/fag breaks be disappointed. If you are SWIFT, SHARP & EFFICIENT then it could be your lucky day! Extra work and riding for the right fit.

If you are asked to ride it wont be on the one pictured. It will be on safe ones so spout the dangerous unrideable chat elsewhere.

Did I mention the wife feeds you twice a day? If you live out it wont be caravan scraps at breakfast and lunch. Probably.

Bonus points if you know a man (who knows a man) who can transform the most expensive clothes airer in ayrshire into anything else. (Ideally a horse walker but open to suggestion...)

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿We have a safe one for ⛵️

Lucius Verus 6yo 19000hh gelding.
Hacked out by an 11yo boy. Easy to catch, shoe, clip, no vices, no competitive edge! Born here and known as Max, this horse has had a fairly light paper round. We kept expecting him to grow and show us he has been a sleeping dragon. He isn't. He is one of the kindest horses we have had in years but this Ayrshire postcode isn't suiting him. What price is safe? Mid 4s.

The wanderer returns! Niamh left us to go to college last month but she came in to help out today, sprained wrist and all! Here she is on Pony Express one of her favourites. The first batch to come in are all getting pretty fit and will be heading for galloping after racing in the next few weeks and first runners mid October 🏇🏇🏇

Casting a wider net here:
EXPERIENCED riders and yard staff needed.
Prefer them not to stay on site but a dodgy caravan is available for those desperate enough.
Experience and ability to show up essential, you can't work remotely or jenny and I would be supervising from a beach in barbados.
Sanity, cleanliness, ability to drive optional. Plus side for insane and unclean candidates is that the wife wont ask you to watch the children. Downside is she wont feed you. Apart from maybe scraps thrown out the window.

We're hiring!

Now that some of the young crew are heading off to college we are looking for riders. Preferably full time but depends on candidate. Space for a horse, no accommodation. Must be capable riders as this filly and 6 others have just started their ridden education!

We also need yard staff, part time or full time. Must be able to work as part of a team and on their own and able to work at a good pace to high standards.

With the horses due to come in from their summer holidays mid July we are looking for experienced riders to join our team with both full and part time roles available. Opportunity for right candidate to bring their own horse.

Previous experience riding racehorses or fit competition horses is a MUST as well as a willingness to muck in with other yard jobs, sheep, cow and children herding.

No pony patters or day dreamers.

Adveram looking for 🏰
16.1h 7yo gelding currently in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿SCOTLAND🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 just outside Ayr.

Leg in each corner type, easy to shoe, load, catch etc, goes alone or in company, front or back. Seen a bit as lives on a working farm with small children and general chaos outside his door daily.

ROR elegible, winner of 2 races over hurdles and retires from racing sound and blemish free with no stable vices. Properly started, knows about gp saddles, legs, contact, straightness, doesn't need months in the field and fairied about with for more months. Only thing I will say is we don't get on using a stirrup but knows about leg up and mounting block. Has seen coloured poles, excellent jumper and has ran over hurdles and fences, just didn't enjoy it at the end. Low-mid 4 figures, home most important.
