So last night we attended the Northern Dorset Breeders Club flock competition presentation evening, it was held at the Top Brink Inn in Todmorden, very close to where our judge, Bruce Kenworthy, lives and farms his flock of Dorset Horns. The evening was filled with good food, good company and a smidge of alcohol 🍺 topped off with us being awarded 1st prize for our flock ewes and then going on to win Overall Champion Flock 🏆 Congratulations to Freddie Lea for taking Reserve Champion Flock and Best Stock Tup and to Sheila Gray for winning Best Group of Ewe Lambs. Finally a big thank you to our judge Bruce Kenworthy for all the time, effort and deliberation put into judging the competition and organising the presentation evening x

Show jacket off 😱✂️ time to do some work ……… High Rakes High Break off out to the ladies - hopefully there will be some lamb shaped Christmas Crackers for us this year 🐏🐑♥️

So she only went and bloody did it …… my pick of the ewe lambs since she was about a week old - Female Champion, Breed Champion and Northern Dorset Club Champion

Also picked up Reserve Male Champion with our Shearling Ram and Best Horn Exhibit with our Shearling Ewe

Now onto tomorrow’s Interbreed
