But it’s not for sale until Thursday? Whilst gone are the stressful days of racing to get the wine across from France in a Citroen 2CV in time for your events. The wines ships early now probably the only thing global warming has done for us has meant the wines are ready and ship a touch earlier these days, however they come strictly packed with “𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫” and whilst im sure the Jean Dams will not arrest us for it in little Beverley rules are rules and the law states it cannot be consumed until 12.01am, how French making you wait a whole minute. Take out wine for £18 a bottle or try it in our bar this thursday anytime from 6-9pm we’re hosting an informal wine tasting with bar food also! Booking available, walk-ins accepted

The man of La Mancha says I like him!

Following the runaway success of their much-loved house white ‘Chin Chin’, we're delighted to unveil the team from Noble Rots new house red - ‘Don Tinto’.

Made from organically-farmed Tempranillo grown around Villanueva de Alcardete in Toledo, ‘Don Tinto’ is fruit-forward and silky with a generous black cherry with vanilla spice profile from partial-ageing in oak barrels. It is also vegan-friendly.

Available this week in the deli for £15 a bottle alongside Chin Chin at £13 - or take a mixed 6 of them both with discount of a £1 a bottle!

This onions chutney is amazing, Salé Sucré aka sweet & savoury is exactly what this is a combo of both. Perfect on a wide range of dishes, from cured meats, cheeses to sandwiches, a kick in your onion gravy or a dollop with roasted lamb served with some melted goats cheese over the tops would be chefs kiss 😘 delicious and in the deli now!

Frank Sinatra’s favourite wine was Bolla Soave, in fact he famously left a dinner in his honour because the restaurant didn’t sell it. Well we used to see it but since Frank’s sad passing there is really no need anymore, so we’ve this cool one from Vicentini Agostino hitting the shelves at the deli next week, cool, crisp, fresh and spot on with a bowl of pasta. A snip at £16.50

It’s kinda really nearly the weekend right? We have an amazing range of pre-mixed high end quality cocktails in the deli. Some, such as this are so good we even use them on the bar menu

Here we’ve even got this bad boy in our deli fridge, so if you’re on the way home from the pub, or on the way to a friends for a party, why not rock up with something a bit more interesting - 5/6 servings a bottle for just £23 - tequila, lime and a touch of orange wine make up the perfect margarita 🍸

Fig Ball - £8.50 in the deli now!

The clever locals of Cosenza in Calabria have come up with an ingenious way of preserving the juicy Dotatto figs, which grow in this region of Southern Italy.

Picked from the trees when they are plump and ripe, the fruits are dried and then slowly caramelised in their own juices over 18 hours, before being shaped into balls, wrapped in fig leaves and slow baked.

The resulting fig ball is a delectable accompaniment to cheese. Try it with a Gorgonzola Dolce cheese – the unctuous fig is a marvelous match for the rich, tangy cheese.

Well I know what I’m having this weekend as a treat snack… Stunning new anchovies in the deli MSC certified boquerón in olive oil and mind bending butterflied Cantabrian anchoa which are not skinned and are also “unrolled” meaning a far plumper anchovy than you may have previous experienced!
