Most recently we found ourselves going back again and again to this friendly and cosy place directly opposite the museum.

We don't really want to say where it is so that it doesn't get too busy and we can't find a seat indoors, but it most certainly deserves a mention 👌💯.

They do the most amazing coconut latte.

A very popular cafe in Cardiff's Queen Street. Based on our experiences dining in and out we scored this place high. However like many places, it's very busy lunchtimes.

Cappuccino always nice and friendly staff.

Note you are given an electronic tag device to let you know when your order is ready to collect from the counter. Personally, I would prefer service to table as can be inconvenient when you are dining alone and have to place a coat on seat to reserve.

We tried this place today for the 1st time having read great reviews and was pleasantly surprised. A very warm welcome from the lady serving along with a fab coffee and cake. We look forward to visiting again to try some dishes from their breakfast, lunch and evening menus. Cosy atmosphere and love the extension inside 😍

Yesterday we called into the Amber Vista eatery in lakeside, Cardiff and visited Parkside kitchen and bar.

Unfortunately it was a nightmare trying to park, no ambience inside but on a lovely sunny day we could sit out on the terrace. It's also dog friendly.

Based on the coffee bean alone we scored it 6/10 but note it's a restaurant and you feel awkward just sitting outside having a few coffees.
