❤️❤️A stunning send off for Tony❤️❤️
Today we’ve been at Morley Old Hall for an extra special funeral reception in memory of Tony. A very much loved partner, father, grandfather and great grandfather, brother and uncle.

Family and friends gathered in memory of Tony to raise a glass and share today’s Bobby dazzler of a buffet. I’m reliably informed he would have loved it. Music to my ears ❤️

My thanks to Hannah from Morley Old Hall and my wonderful team for keeping everything running smoothly.
Tony’s well attended funeral service was held at Breckland Crematorium and arranged by Littleproud Funeral Directors, Bradenham. Stunning flowers provided by Forget Me Not Flowers from Dereham.

Sleep tight, Tony. Your family did you proud today. ❤️

Today we’ve been cleaning and sorting, sorting and cleaning 🧼 🫧 at Lincoln Hall Hingham It’s lovely to give a little something back.

The hall has been a pretty big part of my life, over the years. From helping to run the weekly toddler group (sadly no longer exists) to being the Chair of the playgroup for 6 years (now runs from purpose built premises on the school grounds). Many fundraising bingos, jumble sales and quiz nights and catering events later, crockery stocks were a little depleted…..

So today Daisy Boo's - Hingham caterer has donated a HUGE stack of crockery. 80 mugs, 50 vintage cups, saucers and side plates, 48x dinner plates, bowls and side plates and some vintage water jugs. That’s filled the cupboards up nicely for everyone to use.

My thanks to my ladies for giving up their time to help today and to Amanda and Lorraine from Lincoln Hall for their help.
A job well done!

❤️🧀🍓🫐🫒Grazing Platters ❤️🫛🥑🍇🧀
These look pretty amazing and are a great way to entertain smaller gatherings (30 and under) These pictures were taken over the summer. It’s only when I’ve been looking back that I realise what an incredible summer it’s been! You’ve certainly kept me busy. The hen-do at Glamp & Tipple - Norfolk Glamping Site coincided with temperatures of 38 degrees. It was very hot setting that one up 🥵 I was melting 🫠

🫖☕️ MONDAY 2nd NOVEMBER 🫖☕️
Our first Daisy Boo's - Hingham caterer community cafe 😊 held at Hingham Rectory Bowls Club from 10am til 12.

Especially for those who have recently been bereaved, who are on their own or for couples who would benefit from some company in later life.
Elderly isolation has such a detrimental impact and that’s something I’d like to help with, in a very small way.

There’s no charge to attend. There will be a bowl for donation towards coffee and biscuits, but the ability to pay (or not) is irrelevant. Inclusion is!

In the meantime, if you, or someone you know would like to come along to our first cafe on MONDAY 2nd November, we’d be delighted to see you ❤️

Only I could arrange a few days at the chalet that coincided with not one, but two storms! 🙄 with heavy rain and strong winds we weren’t really able to do what I’d hoped. But it was still a rest. One final walk along the beach this morning 🌅 was a bit of a challenge 😂 Nick and I were both blown sideways (the pictures don’t show just how windy it was!) it certainly blew away the cobwebs.

Later this week I’ll be catering for a funeral reception for the Rowe family, at Morley Old Hall. Before that, I have much sorting of crockery to do. I’m donating all my surplus crockery to Lincoln Hall Hingham to set them up. It’s good to help where you can 😊
