NORTHERN MONK REFECTORY AND GARDEN 🌸 🤝 Thackray Museum of Medicine 🤝 Heritage Open Days

We’re hosting our first ever Heritage Open Days event and we’re honoured to be kicking things off with the Thackray Museum of Medicine for a very special brewery tour on Saturday 19th September at 7:00pm.

Join our hosts, Owen and Josh (who may or may not be dressed up!), for an evening exploring the historic connection between hops and medicine!
You’ll hear about beer’s role in social health and how it’s shaped the history of Leeds, with stories from the museum’s collection and insights from our brewers.

Attendance is free and there will be a themed Tasting Flight available for purchase on arrival with three third-pints covering a range of historic styles and flavours.

Not only do we LOVE drinking beer, or drinking it TOGETHER, but we also ADORE chatting to our customers about our newest releases!
Tasters, recommendations, tips and explanations are a core part of the experience at the Northern Monk taprooms.

We recently had a lovely visit to our main brewing site in Leeds, down at Sydenham Road for QT training and beer tasting (and of course a gawk at the mahoosive tanks!)

There’s no “just a pint” here, we will give you something you’ll enjoy time and time again.
