Elixir Distillers is a creator, blender and bottler of fine spirits. We create brands where we believe there is a niche in the market, and seek to combine aesthetically beautiful design with delicious, characterful spirits. Our expertise is primarily Scotch whisky, together with Irish, Japanese and American whiskies as well as rum and Tequila. Our core brands are Port Askaig, Elements of Islay, Si

ngle Malts of Scotland and Black Tot. In addition, we have several other brands in development, and we also have global distribution rights outside North and South America for Tapatio Tequila. We currently export our brands to more than 20 international markets and are delighted that all are growing on a steep upward curve. Every member of our team is a spirits enthusiast with immense product knowledge, looking to produce the world’s next great drink. Quite simply, this passion is why our brands have become so popular around the world.

This expression shows our commitment to highlight casks of exceptional quality and character. Distilled in 2006 and aged for 18 years in a single refill hogshead, this release yielded just 271 bottles.

Last week Sukhinder hosted a New Year luncheon .london, attended by a few of our industry friends.

We toasted to the year ahead - guaranteed to be a busy one for Elixir Distillers - with our newly launched Elixir Trails series, alongside a few other drams and a delicious menu from ALTA.

Last night in Edinburgh, our hearts were bursting with pride as our very own Polly Logan was crowned Icons of Whisky 2026 Distillery Manager of the Year! 
 
It’s been a truly incredible journey watching Polly take the reins at Tormore Distillery. She doesn’t simply manage a distillery; she has taken this sleeping giant of a distillery and breathed new, vibrant life into it, growing the team from 5 to 26 passionate people, turning it into a thriving community hub. Her vision has put quality, the team, and the community back at the heart of this stunning Speyside icon.
 
If you’re wondering what all that hard work, community spirit, and incredible leadership tastes like... well, let’s just say there are some rather special spirits maturing nicely under her watchful eye. Keep yours peeled next year, as we might just be ready to share the fruits of Polly’s labour with the world!

We’re looking for a Social Content Creator to join our team at Elixir Distillers. Based in Park Royal, London, this is a permanent, full-time role leading the strategy and creation of social content for our whisky and rum brands. Where creativity meets community - and you’re at the centre.

In this role, you’ll own our social presence end-to-end - developing strategy, planning content calendars, creating high-quality posts and campaigns, managing communities, and driving engagement across our growing audience of spirits fans. You’ll work closely with brand and creative teams to bring product launches, stories and experiences to life across social platforms.

We’re looking for someone who is:

We’re looking for a Website Manager to join our team at Elixir Distillers. Based in Park Royal, London, this is a permanent, full-time role - to lead and enhance the digital experience for our brands.

In this role, you’ll manage the day-to-day performance of our websites - ensuring they reflect our craftsmanship, heritage, and our story. You’ll work closely with our creative and brand teams to bring campaigns to life online, improve user journeys, analyse performance, and help us grow our global audience of spirits lovers.

We’re looking for someone who is:
✔️ Experienced in managing brand or e-commerce websites
✔️ Confident using CMS platforms (Webflow, Umbraco, Shopify or similar)
✔️ Skilled in analytics (Google Analytics / GA4) and UX optimisation

Elixir Distillers is delighted to announce the appointment of Jackie Thomson as Visitor Experience Manager for Portintruan, following her departure from Ardbeg earlier this year after more than 25 years.

Jackie's role as Visitor Experience Manager is currently focused on shaping the visitor journey through the distillery, during the build phase. The distillery is entering the final phases of development and hopes to be open for visitors in Spring/Summer 2026.

Jackie shares her excitement at joining the Elixir Distillers team:
“What makes Portintruan unique is that the visitor has never been an afterthought here. We are creating experiences that leave lasting memories for every whisky lover who comes through the door.”

Jackie joins our Portintruan Distillery Manager and fellow Islay stalwart Georgie Crawford, and our Head of Whisky Creation Oliver Chilton, all of whom have helped shape the Islay whisky industry over the last few decades and together will be a formidable team.
