What a fantastic weekend for us, and it was an honour to be part of the Shire Horse Society Demonstration Team at the Three Counties Show.

Our Shires, Bromford Lucky Surprise and her foal Blackbird, wowed the crowds throughout the weekend and received plenty of attention from visitors.

A huge well done to Poppy and Orlaith for taking such great care of them, preparing them beautifully, and showing them in the ring. An extra special mention for Saturday, when they handled everything by themselves and did a fantastic job.

Congratulations to everyone involved with the SHS Team at the Three Counties Show. It was a wonderful event and a great showcase for the breed.

Look at what happened in the early hours of this morning on the farm…
Lady Georgia has had a beautiful filly foal 🖤

We’ve been patiently watching her over the last couple of days, and at 4am she safely gave birth to this lovely little girl.

Both mare and foal are doing really well. The foal was quickly up on her long legs and is already drinking confidently from mum.

It’s always a special moment to welcome a new Shire foal into the world, and we’re delighted everything has gone smoothly.

We’re sure visitors are going to fall in love with her over the next few weeks! 🐴
