Les Jardins de Babylone ~ The Gardens of Babylon ~ takes its name from the ancient wonder, a fitting reference for a wine of such rarity and ambition.

From the precipitous slopes of Jurançon in southwest France, this 100% Petit Manseng is harvested late to achieve remarkable concentration, yet it is the grape’s naturally piercing acidity that defines the wine’s architecture. Aromas of candied citrus peel, quince paste and acacia honey unfold with notes of saffron and spice, held in tension by a crystalline line that prevents excess.

Crafted by Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau, continuing the uncompromising vision established by his father, Didier Dagueneau, it stands as a benchmark expression of Jurançon moelleux and a wine with the structure to evolve gracefully for decades.

Champagne. Champagne! As many of you know, we’ve long had a love affair with this effervescent nectar. (We’d probably bathe in it, but that’s more than likely a propensity of emperors, autocrats and tech bros, so no.)

From within the Champagne region, there are many to choose from, and we always carry an extensive selection of this uniquely French offering.
